  1. The answer is... 42. X-D You mean real chess doesn't have studs?! :-P Troll Queen? They exist? :-P Seriously, when did we hear about a troll queen? The chess set has the wizard from Skeleton Tower and the witch from the advent calendar for the evil King and Queen. ~Peace
  2. Ahahaha!!! Nom nom nom! That's hilarious! :-D :-D :-D (I've been on icanhascheezburger a lot lately... X-D) Great comic, AgentRick57! I thoroughly enjoyed that! :-D :-D And I'm honoured to have both me and Redman in the comic. :-$ ~Peace
  3. Oooh, SNOT! 8-
  4. Thanks for your review! I love this set, it'll be my first batch of Stormtroopers too! *wub* ~Peace
  5. Looking forward to your review! Out of interest, do you post links to other people's previous reviews of a set in your reviews? EDIT: Man, that knight sure is agile, being able to walk across the halberd handlebars like that! ~Peace
  6. They were improved upon, and made to a more profitable set that fits in with the current Castle line. :-) Seriously, I love them. They're fantastic, I nearly had a heart-attack of joy when I first saw them. I couldn't believe my eyes. Apparently some one got them from Legoland, but I hope they'll be available form normal stores or even as a Toys'R'Us (or in NZ, Toyworld) exclusive, as there's no Legoland here in New Zealand! :'-( ~Peace
  7. Well that all depends on where and when I get a job. X-D But I really really want it, I may have to pass on getting doubles of the sets, and sticking to the bare minimum... :'-( ~Peace
  8. Happy birthday all three of you! May your presents have that wonderful rattle of the bricks we so love! :-D ~Peace
  9. Very cute little mech! :-D The arms are great, and very posable, and the crates are awesome too. :-D The only thing that I find brings down the mech is how it looks when it's walking. It's a little too 'cutesy'. :-$ Perhaps a 1x2 click hinge brick could be added with details? That would give the mech more of a leg section, and would maybe improve on it a bit. It still looks great though! *y* That crate looks awful heavy too, I sense a broken leg or two! Let's hope Doctor Sinister's in the finest of your medical care! X-D ~Peace
  10. I voted for Oky Wan Kenobi. I loved it when I saw the topic of it, it's so full of detail and it's very unique! *y* *y* All the other entries were fantastic too, I had a hard time choosing what to vote for! ~Peace
  11. Why wouldn't he? :-P Great comic, Dr. S.! Hilarious, keep 'em rolling! :-D ~Peace
  12. Right you are! I'm sure I've seen this done with other faces too. ~Peace
  13. Hehe, hilarious! Another use for those new crates, too! :-D *y* ~Peace
  14. Well worthy indeed! :-D A very cool MOC, rich in detail and going-ons, it's amazing! *y* *y* Fantastic find! ~Peace
  15. Not to mention this definately has far more than double the pieces of the last one, so it should be far more than double the price. I believe the last ones were 50 USD, so this one will be well priced at 150 USD. Although the price exchange is a bit unfair. The 50USD chess set is 95NZD, but 50 USD translates to about 65-70NZD. :-/ That means when I should be paying 200NZD for a 150USD set, it'll end up being a lot more. |-/ ~Peace

    Batman '08

I honestly never expected to see Batman driving a go-cart chasing Mr Freeze in a baggage cart. But, it's a cheap way to get 2 sweet minifigs. :-D And that giant hammer! :'-) Well, I am a fan of giant hammers, but I'm gonna have to pass on this, seeing the Castle battlepacks and what-not... :'-( ~Peace
  17. Hehehe, very cool! I can just imagine the big cheese of Megabl0ks accidentally referring to their own product as Legos. :-D ~Peace
  18. Actually, I believe your was something like: I am FEAR Incarnate! Wheras on a game I've been playing the guy says: "I fear no evil, for I am fear incarnate!" Anyway, zero, I was thinking you could bulk out the legs like you have, but perhaps still have small cogs or something? I really like the cogs! X-D ~Peace
  19. Hehehe! That one made me smile! :-D Great job, keep it up! :-D ~Peace
  20. Very cool Batbrick! That thing could maul folks up something awful! :-D Very neat! *y* ~Peace
  21. For I am fear incarnate... The newer version looks nice and bulky, but I prefer the original, rippy-tearing version. Still, it looks great. *y* ~Peace

    The Sonic Boom

Very cool! I must say the cockpit is unique. An original design! *y* ~Peace
  23. Another great, detailed creation! The vehicle is awesome, great use of clips and what-not. The mortar itself is also a wonderful creation, I love the sights on it. *y* *y* ~Peace
  24. I believe we heard of another special set to be released at the end of next year, just like we got the Castle Advent Calendar. I don't think this will be it though, because I really can not wait 2 years to get my hands on this. And now for my complete analysis of the set. :-D I love how each corner represents the different factions. One corner has the wooden columns and fences and wheels and golden crystals like the mine. The next has a Castle wall section with the Crownie's flag. Next up we have a wooden barricade with spears jutting out, bearing the sand green flag. Another chain, with spikes, and the troll's banner. Last we have a black tower, with the crystal ball featuring the green 'gem', those bone spikes, a chain, and a giant rib cage encasing the wall. The sides have a nice pattern, Crownie flags and shields with double-bladed golden axes, with torches in the middle, then switching to scythes and skellie shields (on the opposite side a troll shield). Then at the back of the 'evil' side, we have 2 flails and skellie shields, 2 gold troll scimitars and troll shields, and the black dragon's head topped with 2 flames, all with the black and dark red colour scheme, great for parts. The opposite side featuring 2 gold 'great swords', 2 short double-bladed golden axes, 2 ovoid Crownie shields and 2 dwarf shields. The green dragon's head topped with 2 golden crystals, all this keeping with the blue/gold colour scheme. I love the evil rooks, they really have that jumbled troll tower/outpost feel to it. The crownie ones make sweet defensive towers too, with the archers on top. Though they do have the wrong helmet. Ah well, I'm not complaining, just look at the rest of the set! The black skellie knight with sword and shield, opposed by the royal knight, the horse with golden armour as opposed to the silver/blue, with a lance topped with gold and blue flags, and a silver 'great sword'. For bishops the humans get our beloved 'good wizard' up on a stand, armed not with his wand, but with lightning! Still, lightning or wand, doesn't really matter when they're up against one dark tan and one sand green ogre/giant troll, both armed with a hefty club! The wizard gets the bat-throne, and the witch gets the, er, pointy throne. The King and Princess both get the same throne, except the king's has a gold pointy bit, which makes it better. Both topped with 2 blue gems each. And the pawns! Oh rapture! :-D Each one is different! 3 trolls with gold helms and shields, one with a flagged axe, no, halberd. Sorry. One with a silver sword, and one with, er, some pixels? I don't know. I really can't see anything. Is it a little axe or something? I dunno. Anyway, we get 2 armoured trolls with silver-black speckled helms, one with a golden sword, the other with something indiscernible. Both with troll shields. Then 3 normal trolls with silver helms and shields, one with a flagged halberd, one with a mace, and one with a crossbow. Crossbow! That's what the other one must have. Onto the good side, we get a bazillion (8) dwarves! 3 with bronze wingless helms, 1 with a silver crystal and pickaxe, one with a silver sword and dwarf shield, and the other with a dwarf shield and a golden single bladed axe (just a guess there though). 2 golden winged helmed dwarfs, one with a double-bladed golden axe and shield, the other with a shield and another unknown object, perhaps a hammer? Then 3 more dwarfs, this time with silver wingless helms, I can only make out one has a silver sword and shield, one has a shield and a mystery object (again, perhaps a hammer?), and the last has 2 mystery objects. Or nothing. I don't know. and lastly, 2304 studs covered in 576 black and white tiles. Wow. So, in conclusion: X-O X-O X-O X-O *wub* *wub* *wub* *wub* :'-) :'-) :'-) :'-) I love you, TLC. *wub* ~Peace
