I think you are overly critical and very unfair at Greivous! I got the game yesterday and I have to say I really enjoy it! The gameplay is just thrilling: everything I expected. By all means, get it! You won't be dissappointed, I promise! EDIT: Although I'm taking it slow. There's 30 levels and I've only got a Riddler's Henchman(green shirt, black knit cap) and Riddler's Goon(lime suit and hat). I'll tell you more as I go along; I'll go slow so I can keep ya'll posted.

Really? I hadn't seen the Mummy(is that his name? haven't seen him before) before or the Joker's purple fedora. Or maybe I have... Now I'm confused... Freeze girl? SWAT? Yeti? Must... Get... Game...

Yes, from the pic quality for all we know they could just be SUPER accidentally pre-released 09 Impulse sets. But that would kill any possibility of an Elf impulse...

Excellent! Legomilk, as if you haven't done it hundreds of times before, you've once again proved your invaluability to EB! So, one preliminary pic of a mysterious new set, and then the rest of the GOOD pics of the new sets! Can't wait! Only a month more! :skull:

Q's & A's on instructions, tutorials, scans, book reviews
trooperdavinfelth replied to KimT's topic in LEGO Star Wars
1. I'm afraid you're too late. This was already posted in the 2008-2009 sets topic(or was it the Death Star topic?). 2. Don't post new threads for new news you think is new news. -
Wasn't the release date for the US September 23? I kinda figured that since we already know pretty much all about it it's coming pretty soon. But I'm not sure... Also, has anyone checked out the website at TT games?

Hola wow! That's impressive! But what will they use to point out the facial features of the face? P.S. Can someone delete my shameful posts in the firstish pages of this thread? Please?

Well, in my Brickmaster I got two codes: One for a Policeman and one for a Police Car. I'll post em' here if you like.

Indeed, did I do that? I never hit the reply button NEXT to the quote button because for some reason it won't quote the post. I always use Add Reply. And I should've just <snip> <snip> ed the pics.

Indeed... I'd seen the first already but the second is surprising. But not really since it didn't really have any CW heads in it. I think they did this so as to not leave B-1s and B-2s in the cold in the second CW lineup when there's a Clone BP but no B-1/B-2 BP.

Ahh, me too, but surely this is no person! Or at least it doesen't deserve to be called one... Wow, I didn't think they were that huge.

... It's... It's not Lego... It's... Not. Not Lego... Those are... legos.

In case you didn't notice the guy who posted this is banned.

Do you even know what you are saying? Read it and weep, man. It's only 70 USD.

Yup, which is why I don't understand TBHH. Well, at least I don't see it. That's YOUR sand blue Bricklink order, then! Anyway, where'd you find that pic? I think we all want to see hi-res versions of these... Plus, I see Mace Windu's lightsaber in the upper left section of that pic. Agreed. I mean, blue is fun but grey actually looks like the Galactic Empire. The Empire always was grey, black, and white. Grey AT-STs, grey AT-ATs, white 'n' black stormies/scouties, black Navy Troopers, grey or black Imp Officers, black Sith Lords, black-cloaked Emperors, grey Death Stars, grey Star Destroyers, grey starships, black Death Star Droids, oh the list goes on...

Linkin' Park FTW! Gotta love it...

Except for these two facts: 1. Aliens have a tendency to look like Jedi. 2. He mentioned this character ASIDE from Yoda which is why we assumed it was Whorm because we ALREADY knew, due to the rumor, that Yoda was in the set. THERE. It's grey and black. How does it being 50 pounds take it from $40 to $110?
-
Ahh, fair enough. I see that now. Apologies if I offended you!
-
Wow! This is an impressive set! Two heads I need there! The one in the orange car and the one in the Naboo Fighter pilot torso! I may get this! Lots of great parts and new stuff for me! Notice how the driver of the orange car has a Doctor Inferno henchman torso.
-
For GOSH'S SAKES! IT'S DAMN GREY AND BLACK IN THE MOVIE! Besides, there was black in the blue model! For pete's sake, 40 bucks is a bargain for the AAT if it has a new Yoda, Loathsom(I still trust to Ahsoka), 3 SBDs, a B-1, and a clone.
-
Well, I reckon I'll post my little list: 7 regular clones 1 Fox 1 Rex 1 Cody 2 Pilots I didn't get any through magazines. And I didn't get a single one DISHONESTLY through Lego.com's Customer Service.

Hey mate, thanks a bunch. Don't worry, it's good enough that you actually changed. All too many noobs would probably turn around and insult me, so thanks for respecting my request. Also, since in that trailer to the series, Anakin and Ahsoka are in a Y-Wing, I suppose they might make two or just one with both of them or one with clones. Many choices for TLC to make, many choices. EDIT: On the prices: Yeah, I think they are very accurate. $9.99 for the battle packs, $19.99 for the Hyena, $29.99 for the Advanced(VERY good price for a TIE Fighter ), $44.99 for the AAT, and $64.99 for the Shuttle. I'm impressed and to be frank, I can't wait.
-
COME on. First off, how can you NOT be surprised that a kid living these days would NOT make that? And heck, I could make that in a jiffy and I wouldn't have problems because I'd just be representing people who are mentally retarded who might try and do that. Anyways, not to take this a ranty flamish sort of topic, I'll stop there, and end it on a note ALL active EBers agree on. You know what's disturbing? Megabloks.

I'll write some comments on your thoughts if you don't mind(I love reviewing reviews ): CBP: It's not an AT-RT; originally, if you recall, the AT-RT was a ten dollar set in and of itself. Plus, this is half the size and it seats two clones. ADBP: Agreed! Not that I don't have IG, but hey! I always wanted one with a straight arm ever since the video game. HDB: Agreed! Dare I say it, but it needs some stickerage. Also, I don't think the green marines are fully canon. AAT: Well, if TLC will make the Queen's Episode 3 Starship(I know it's not confirmed; I'm just saying.) why not make an Episode 1 version? We've been WAY overdue for some Episode 1 sets and the N-1 + DSF and the MTT are NOT sufficient! Yes, we were promised two things which this pic does not reveal: Whorm Loathsom, and a CW Yoda. He's clearly the old head. RS: These are to transport VIPs, and the are MOST certainly faster and sleeker. They are the lead in to the Imperial Shuttle(the Lambda Class we all know and love!), and allow me to rephrase your statement: I wonder why the Empire has these and Imperial Landing Crafts. DVT: Yeah; the good thing about this set is that it confirms more OT sets after the CW! Thanks for posting that image; yes, the trailer clearly shows both of them in the Y-Wing, and you can tell because Ahsoka is manning the gunner's turret in the back while Anakin is flying. Yeah, but I happen to have a theory that will require some questions getting answered. Are the Assassin droids seen shooting at Anakin and someone else or something in the movie(which I haven't seen yet)? Are there, at any point, brownish clone troopers flying through space? Now if either AREN'T, and this is the FIRST part of my theory, then they are from the series. Now if we look at Hasbro's slideshow picture of wave 3 or 4 or something of animated CW figs(3 3/4 inch) the IG Assassin droid is present as well as a clone Space Trooper. Hasbro is ALSO making the same CW Y-Wing(again, 3 3/4 inch) and I believe has shown a picture of it. Now, it would appear that if the Assassin Droids are NOT from the movie, this means Lego is making sets from the series. Otherwise, can someone explain the Assassin Droids Battle Pack? Plus, was the Hyena Bomber in the movie? I think someone said it wasn't, so it's certain that TLC is making sets from the series. I think this is a great design, a great opportunity for a little produced color(in SW anyway), yellow, to be made, and hopefully it'll have another Clone Pilot or two, maybe even a basic clone as the gunner.
