Eurobricks Clone Wars Building Contest
trooperdavinfelth replied to Clonecommando007's topic in Watto's Junkyard
You're allowed to have as much as you want as long as it's ON the baseplates. You can connect as many baseplates together as you want but all the bricks have to be on the plates %100, except for maybe a stud of overhang. EDIT: I took the liberty to correct your grammar above. -
1. That's whung, and you should know he's one of those awesome guys who brings us tons of new pics! 2. Old news, and we've known about the second clone since the instructions were found online. Well, it's just as easy to buy multiples of the HSD and the TX-130, particularly the TX-130! And I think TLC's focus in this line is more on heroes and less on army building. They clearly want to wow the world with their new minifigs; look how much they've spent on new molds! But an army builder would be AWESOME especially if it had five clones with blank torsos with two Commander Gear polybags, and a big sticker sheet for customly colored torsos so you could get one BP and make Cody's gang, get another and make Rex's gang, get another and make Fox's gang, etcetera. Now I know ya'll hate stickers, but I think this would rock...

What game are we playing at the moment?
trooperdavinfelth replied to Mr Hobbles's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Lego Indiana Jones. We have 85 percent done so far(me and my brother). I have all the characters, but every time I play Free Play and look at the Character List I see an empty slot. I don't know who that would be! I thought it might be SW characters but there are five!(and I found all five already) -
Italics: You can move the arms and legs up and down even with the chain. You can also turn the helmet(but not take it off) and take off and rotate the hands of the the minifig with the chain. If you take it off I don't know; I haven't done that yet and have no reason to. Bold: We've known the last two, like, forever. Twilight: $80 HSD: $20 The other two, I don't know. Also, Rex looks funny with no kama or pauldron.

Zounds, I did NOT know that! (I don't live it Europe so it's a no-brainer for me ) But I want a Shadow Trooper ring all of a sudden... And I don't know why. Maybe I'll alternate between Slave 1 and Shadow Trooper.

Eurobricks Clone Wars Building Contest
trooperdavinfelth replied to Clonecommando007's topic in Watto's Junkyard
Yeah; remember my FIRST bignette entry and how the Juggernaut was broken in half with half broken over the edge? Two wheels and part of the body was resting on the carpet and that's a no no. -
Umm, those have been on Shop at Home for quite a while... I made S@H order recently and got the Rebel Trooper Keychain.

Eurobricks Clone Wars Building Contest
trooperdavinfelth replied to Clonecommando007's topic in Watto's Junkyard
OK, I'm resizing the pics of the NEW edition of the bignette. It has ALL the pics right, ALL the clones right, with ALL of my custom built(everything in this big' is purist %100) clone and droid weapons right, ALL the blaster blasts right, and ALL of the scenery and turrets and the Juggernaut itself right! Everything is %100 on the platform(same as before) and nothing has changed. If I can get this change made, thanks a bunch. I'll get the pics up as soon as I resize them and upload them, and I'll do deeplinks since I know my time is running out. -

Now THAT'S nitpicky. Biased or not, it's not fair at all. It may indeed be against the rules, but ditto to Uberlag below! He means he's trying not to be unfair. He has till the end of this month, I believe. He's got time. DITTO AND AMEN! -
Erm, it HAS been discussed before, the presence of the abbr. idk notwithstanding, so it's not a new idea. It was mentioned in April/May during the time of the first Toyfairs.

I need the May/June 2008 LEGO Club Magazine
trooperdavinfelth replied to KDog's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
You can call up as easy as 1, 2, 3 and get a backup copy. Case closed, methinks. I once got five magazines I missed through this method; the subscription is free so it ISN'T a big deal. -
The Death Star 10188 S@H price rise
trooperdavinfelth replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
They're apologizing alright; apologizing to their bosses for the many hundreds of dollars which slipped through their fingers... -
One small note about Gimli: Don't you have any of the smaller helmets? They would be fine; particularly the bronze one. And I will note that Gimli's beard is lighter in hue in reality although it almost always seems darker. The color is fine.
-
That's just the regular Star Wars small blaster, silly.
-
Typical... Well, I expected this to happen but I'm not worrying too bad. I'll get the figures and be happy.
-
Oh. Then I'm afraid it's not in that one; that's the Catalog with the prices and item descriptions and stuff. You should be getting your magazine soon, though. And I confess I was mistaken. It's in the magazine which shows the turbocar going through a city street with some buildings in the background and Spy Clops' helicopted behind him, but nothing else. Sorry for the confusion.
-
So you're sure it's a MAGAZINE? It should show the turbocar speeding along a curved road being chased by Spy Clops' helicopter. It doesen't have the items listed inside with prices and stuff? Then it'd be a catalog.
-
The May/June one. The 'dinky small ones' are catalogs with nothing but prices and info on the sets themselves. No offense, but you should know that by now. A little heads up on the system used by TLC for timing of catalogs and magazines: Catalogs are done by season. They include a January Catalog to to start the year, a Spring Catalog, a Summer Catalog(the more recent one with the Agents on the cover), a Fall/Autumn Catalog, a Winter Catalog, then a Christmas Catalog. That way it's every two months. The Magazines are received on a month/month basis. This one is the May/June catalog. Starting with January/February, there's March/April, May/June, July/August, September/October, and November/December. Then the process restarts. Hopefully this helps. You know, I never thought of that! *slaps head* And those little blasters would work fine for those deece seventeen hand blasters that all the commanders like Deviss, Thire, and Bly have; no doubt they were modelled after them. Well... I'll... Look at it.

Jedi visions! Always a good thing as long as they don't forsee death. Well, I'm getting some new pics up soon so that should eliminate any confusion about it. It's a lot more actiony and really defines what's going on in the bignette. And I've decided I like my old vignette better. -
NEW Official Pirate Minifigure Pictures?
trooperdavinfelth replied to SirNadroj's topic in LEGO Pirates
Do you mean the head with the Fedora on the shirted body with two breast pockets? That's not Indy's head; it's a regular Town head. -
If you got the latest Lego Magazine it shows all the CW characters and Cody only has a visor; no pauldron or kama. Remember: The Commander gear is all one piece, and it'll no doubt come in one of those polybags like what the Batman stuff came in. So it's for putting on your other clones, giving this one a kama, this one a pauldron, etc.

NEW Official Pirate Minifigure Pictures?
trooperdavinfelth replied to SirNadroj's topic in LEGO Pirates
Erm, the Jester has the right head but has Doctor *Disco* Inferno's headpiece. Here's the newer pic: And over on the righthand side, I see an old guy with brushed back hair. Could that mean Dooku? -
*looks at sig and takes it to heart* *eye twitches as TDF wonders if TK is serious* *eye continues to twitch as he wonders if TK is critical of the price or the set itself*
-
Actually, this is a very good representation of Ventress' Sith Lightsabers given to her by Count Dooku after he deemed her ready to be a Sith after she was fighting in the arena in the first Clone Wars collection. They are curved just like that and they do join together but joining aside, they are also black and whitish grey, so I can see some modders making theirs 'just right'.
