  1. Anyone who got an early catch on the new Lake Town set; any chance you can tell me how to two larger pieces of the roof are attached. I'm trying to add the bell tower to the MOC I've been working on in LDD since the first Lake Town set came out. I've figured out how the sides are attached to the roof from pictures but not the front and back as it looks like they are internally attached.
  2. Been awhile since I bought some SW Lego, but got myself the A-Wing the other day. Very, very nice set.
  3. Nicely done Deathleech, nicely done. Unfortunately none of my LDD's would be set worthy as I build them solely for displayability, so they are usually very large with little to no playability.
  4. Noticed in my local Smyths today that all Hobbit and LoTR are gone.
  5. Not only that but the Dwarf soldiers in the game has Gimli's helmet but in silver.
  6. Just to throw my hat in the ring, I'd prefer more Dwarfs and/or Elves than Orcs also.
  7. Incredibly well done, however, your Jamie has one hand too many
  8. Not incredibly accurate, but it looks nice and you did a very good job of putting such specific pieces to the task.
  9. Perhaps these figures have been sitting around for awhile waiting on a release and that's why it is seemingly old packaging?
  10. Cheers, it's nice to get a helpful approach on the subject such as what you have posted here rather than getting reproached for not knowing the inner workings of the Lego group.
  11. Is there only a limited time of the year when sets normally come out or something?
  12. I believe this is still speculation right now, and that nothing has been confirmed one way or the other.
  13. I do indeed, just hard to say if they are all new parts. I imagine he will be scaled up in the game.
  14. Are they confirmed?
  15. Well if we look at the other flagship sets, Helm's Deep had 8 figs, Pirate Ship Ambush had 9, Goblin King Battle had 6 and a big fig, and Dol Guldur had 6. I don't think it unreasonable to expect the bunch as that's 10 figs and a big fig, and it may explain why the price is so high rather than the chance of a big build.
  16. Ah yes, fair enough.
  17. I had heard about this too, and though I could never find it on Xbox Live, I always believed it to be true as there is clearly room for two more characters on the character window, but still no idea how to get it.
  18. I thought he was under the impression that things bein present in the game indicated a minifig would be produced. As for the locations, that was kind of my point; that the games aren't necessarily don't necessarily tie in always.
  19. That's not necessarily true. Look at the wealth of figs in the LoTR game and look at how many exist in reality. Many of the figs in the game have differences to the real thing also. Even where locations are concerned, many locations that are kits were still graphic produced in the game, such as the Black Gate, instead of being brick built. The difference between the Hobbit and LoTR of course as well is that the Hobbit doesn't have nearly the wealth of characters, even in the films. Most of the characters added to the game will never see a real-life minifig.
  20. The Seeing Seat would be a great piece of scenery from Amon Hen. Can't argue there.
  21. Yeah, it has stumped me for months now why there is so much demand for Lego figures of his daughters.
  22. You're not wrong, but it would still be a personal preference of mine. Lothlorien and Amon Hen would make good kits IMO, and Amon Hen is a very iconic scene too.
  23. Most of those are just script names though, in the end they are just more orcs and elves.
