Seeing the viking minifigs was what drew me to LEGO a few years ago, so I'd certainly be up for a new viking theme. Unfortunately, I missed out on the sets in stores and now the prices on eBay, etc. are too high for me. A new group of viking sets would not only give me something exciting to collect and build, but also give me someone to lay waste to all my Castle theme sets! Hmmm... I wonder where to get a few hundred Large Flame pieces? Yep! Me too!

I have to say I'm curious about that, too.

Would love to see this! Do you have photos posted anywhere? Are the Romans custom made?

Hi. Glad to have found a place I can rave about LEGO without getting "that look"! I never had LEGO sets as a kid and have been making up for it ever since I got my first set a few years ago. What would a child of the 70's choose as his first set but 8092 Luke's Landspeeder! Since then it's been Knights Kingdom, Castle, LotR and Hobbit sets mostly. I like some of the Creator buildings, too. Newest acquisition? Castle 375/6075. LOVE that little yellow castle set! It's kind of like owning a Victrola: completely out of step with the modern world, but it is just such a great piece of history that when the opportunity to get it came, I took it!

I just picked up the Yellow Castle set on eBay. Totally blew my LEGO budget for a little while, but absolutely worth it!
