  1. Yeah, well if your in britain, you've probably heard of CBBC, and i send a little email about my problems with them: My message To the concerned, > >I am absolutly discussded not onyl with Tracy Beaker, but with CBBC as a whole. > >First, Tracy Beaker, i am sickened and very angry, that you have a right to show rubbish like this, the ammount of bad influences in it is appaling, with the main character shouting and screaming at a adults and other children and basically throwing temper tantrums when ever she feals like it as a whole. What can of image is this puting across at other children who watch this rubbish, that it's fine to scream at adults and other children, and scream and shout when they don't get there own way? It is quite appaling that you air this for young children, children who pick up frases and various other things of the television quite easily as it happens? I am suprised that you have not got more of these complaints about this issue as it is very clear to see to those educated. > >Also, for CBBC and the presenters, i find that this new "digital" view of CBBC is quite tacky and rubbisy, and is quite clear that this tacky approach is to cut costs of having an actual studio so that they can put newer shows on. I'd prefer them presenting badly in a proper studio, then presenting badly infront of a green screen. > >The actual presenting is quite diabolical, Gemma, one of the presents constantly anoys me with her sexist comments "girls are better than boys" it's anoying and very repetetive, and i'm suprised you people at the BBC would go and not see that as an issue. ANother presenter i find quite anoying, is Anne Foy, with her childish ways and stupid comments about her goat, i ask you, who gives a damn?! Her voice also drives me insane, and i have to wonder if she has something wrong with her sometimes, with quite a bullying comment of a callers name, that i saw today. She is highly unproffesional, laughing all the time so you can't actuly tell what she is saying. > >The competiton questions are also behond a joke, like today "what does water make when it freeses? I mean, come on! How thick do you think the viewers are? > >I hope you take this seriously, as i am seriously thinking of not watching CBBC anymore, and i am 13. I know alot of people who would stop watching and agree with me if the overall satisfaction oes not improve. Also, alot of people have become bored with CBBC and it's rubbish ways. > >Yours sincerlly, >An angry viewer The reply Dear (my name cencored) Thank you for your e-mail regarding 'Tracey Beaker'. I understand tha tyou feel the programme sets a bad example to children. Please be assured, the programme makers take their responsibility to our young audience very seriously. There is never any intention to set a bad example and we would hope our young viewers would realise the programme is a piece of ficition about a mischievous girl who gets into trouble, however we would hope we also show the consequences of her actions and the actions of other characters on the programme. Over the years there has been a substantial change in the style and presentation of children's programmes. However, such changes tend to be a reflection of changes in society. The BBC must remain in touch with its audience and responsive to its needs if we are to fulfil our commitment as a public service broadcaster to provide programmes of interest to all age groups. With regards to CBBC in general and its presenter, it is unfortunate that you feel the look of the studio is poor and that the presenters themselves are not up to the job. I can assure you that all our presenters are given proper training before going onscreen to make sure they can cope with the job, however, I do recognise that you feel some of them are not suitable. Please be assured that your comments on these matters have been fully registered and have been made available to senior BBC management. Thank you once again for taking the trouble to contact us. Regards Chuffed i got a reply!

  18. Hey everyone, well got a bit bored with BZP and at least this is a european site and not just an american one. Thought i come and stay and see what goodies we will be geting from lego this year! Cheers m'deers! Optimax.
  19. I'm actuly sad they got rid of the pods, i mean that's what x-pods were really about, bricks in a small, fit in your pocket sized pod. I'm geting all for in the collection from S@H though, they look quite good *skull* Cheers m'deers (my BZP sign off) Optimax.
  20. Yeah, i have ordered the Green one and Blue on from the most recent S@H as well as the tiny turbo collection, can't wait till they come. The thing on the front is a crash function, when hit with another one bricks are supposed to fly off on purpose. I actuly think there better than last years big racers. darthking- these are out now! Now for the tiny tubos, very nice, very cool, geting all 4, glad they carried tiny turbos on, somebody on BZP agrred and said that there like lego's version of hotwheels! I think that the one with a massive spoiler on the back is quite like an F1 car. So go lego racers for this year! Cheer m'deers! *skull* Optimax!
