I am currently on vacation but I'll post some pictures when I get home! My work space consists of 3 tables. 1 for building and 2 with storage on them. Almost everything I need is within arms reach. Above my building table I have two shelves with some creations/sets on display. The only problem is when I try to make a MOC larger than 64x64. I need to bring in a table from the basement. But that's about it!

They had actually just put up new stock on the wall! The bins were all almost completely full! The store wasn't busy so I gave myself a good amount of time to fill my cups! I don't know how busy Troy usually is but I'd recommend going as soon as possible! They had some pretty good stuff!

It says "down for maintenance" for me.

Went to the Lego Store in Troy, Michigan! I got three large PAB cups, lots of studs, plates, and bricks. Not too many tiles. (Picture will be posted when Brickshelf is finished with maintenance.)

Last Sunday I went to the Lego Store in the Fairview Mall, Toronto. I got myself: - 1x Large Pick-a-brick Cup Today I went to the Lego store in Troy, Michigan. (Somerset Collection) - 3x Large Pick-a-brick Cups - 1x 75035 Kashyyk Troopers Lots of building!

Went to Fairview Mall, Toronto, today on my way to visit my brother... Lots of Tan, Pink, and a couple of Lime Green pieces! Its been a whiles since I've bought any PAB so this was a great purchase! I am staying at my brothers right now and sometime later this week I plan on going to Somerset Collection in Troy, Michigan! Because the prices are cheaper there I'll probably buy 1 - 4 PAB cups depending on what they have!

Do you always try to have a backlog of sets to build?
iamwhoiam replied to BirdOPrey5's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Typically when I buy a set I build it immediately when arriving home or the next day. Then right after I store it, display it or add it to a MOC! -
Thanks Kibosh! I will still probably go to the store if I don't get any pick a brick I'll probably buy some Star Wars or Guardians of the Galaxy sets. I'd still like to see Wall of Bricks updated if possible..

Hello all! I'm going to be in the area next week and I was wondering if the Troy, Michigan Lego Store had any good parts. If somebody could update Wall of Bricks or BrickBuildr that would be great! I live 7 Hours away so I don't go to Troy very often! Thanks!

Twas Fantastic! I wasn't an exhibitor this year but I loaded up on BrickArms and am now about $100 - $150 poorer! The MOCs were also great, my favourite had to have been the Minifigure Habitats... or the airport... or the castles... need I go on?

Why were there no MARVEL sets for the Thor 2 and TWS

I was wondering the same thing! Both would have made amazing sets! -
Except for the new MTT...

Typically Yes. All LEGO Store promotions in the US are the same in Canada as far as I know. -
Once I was trying to seperate two bricks and I got a 1mm deep gash in my hand!

Yeah I was thinking about the end almost the same way for a while. Although the Emmett falling into the real world didn't really upset me that much.

Asst Manager at Glendale Lego Store Stole $50k in Sets

Looks like Lego Stores never do inventory. Also, CBS committed the real crime here... Legos...... -
Actually! I just remembered, Chapters had the Umbaran MHC and the Fire Chiefs Car polybags!
-
I have never seen any polybags in any of my local stores. On trips to the GTA I've found them in Toys R Us and The Lego Store. The only store I can think of that might still have it would be Lasting Toys in Mississauga. They have a large variety of retired sets as well as polybags, I've never been there personally but I plan a trip in the near future!

There once was a time when I attempted to make painted custom minifigures. I now regret those attempts and have moved on to decaling. So... Does anyone have any tips on removing acrylic paint?

It all really depends on the figures you want. Nick Fury, War Machine or Doc Ock. (Plus Spider-Man, Iron Man, etc...) Being an Iron Man fan I would get the Extremis Sea port battle but if not I would highly recommend the Spider Cycle Chase. Hope I helped!

Could 2014 Make Lego Fans Bankrupt?
iamwhoiam replied to BrickBuilder3213's topic in General LEGO Discussion
This is the sad truth! I do buy quite a bit of Star Wars but since last year I've eased up on the Super Heroes. If I want a specific figure I would probably buy it individually. I'm pretty sure my Super Hero Collection has stayed the exact same for the last year. (I spent a lot on Super Heroes last year!) As for the main issue. Personally I think most AFOLs are pretty financially literate, I think we should be able to control our urges! Although there will be sometimes where we will have to boil shoe laces for dinner just to get the newest Modular set . -
I would love a Kingdoms, Johnny Thunder, Atlantis, Power Miners, Alien Conquest, Classic Space or Blacktron Reboot! Get rid of Chima!

I Love it! Great idea. I really like the containers behind the Rodian in orange.
