I think it's possible to attach these trailers, but you should change the 5th wheel's construction. Easier way is to create your own trailer, based on ideas of 2lego and Designer Han. It took me an hour to make a trailer for Jurgen's truck. I never built anything like this before, and I liked the result =)

Here is small update - trailer for Kenworth. Trailer can handle more than 10 kg, but it would be too heavy for truck's gearbox

Jurgen, thank you very much for making this wonderful truck. Building it was fun, instructions are great and easy to read. Due to lack of Xl motors I used two buggy motors. I also swapped the two shafts in the gearbox to produce required reduction. Here is a short showing buggy motors and modified gearbox work together

Good day, everybody! Here is black&white version of 42029 with some tiny modifications. The main problem was the lack of new pins and old suspension arms, so this is not original 42029 in new color. Hope you like it!
