there are quite a few of the impulse sets in my local safeway (woolsworths) here in Warrnambool. they include the good wizard and the knight.

Civilian's would be great...i suppose i can moc my own but its the accessories that i am after. ie animals and produce. i have the blacksmith shop and that gorgeous tavern made back in the eighties (stocked up on a few more when it became legend). Windmills and markets are what i would be interested in...maybe even a farm.

Crownies all the way, crownies have to be the superior faction, weapons and Armour far superior to anything we have seen before. They are cousins to the first ever faction so they have true royal blood running through their veins. and besides.....i love drinking crown lager......hehe (prob sound like i have just had a few)

i never realised how scarce the dwarves mine have been up there.....its been in my local stores for some time now..since it stopped being a US exclusive last year. I bought another just the other day when my store had 20% off.

I buy many multiple sets across the star wars, castle and to some extent city lines. In most cases i build the set once and for the rest i split the mini figs into there own bag and reseal parts into a zip bag. Ie for the castle crossbow attack (60+ sets purchased on sale) i have a zip bag full of mini figs/weapons and a zip bag full of parts for later moc's. Because of storage issues i rarely leave a set boxed.

An excellent review with superb presentation dunamis . When the time comes i hope your able to get your hands on the other new SW sets and review them just as good.

Awesome piece of work, the best moc Cliff face i have ever seen. Am i seeing things that are not there....i mean the rainbow and mist effect in pic 6.

Kmart has 15% off Lego and Target has 20% off lego here in Australia starting from Thursday. Perfect time to buy those new indiana sets.

I just noticed on the box that the advent calender includes 24 gifts (including figures) so i believe there will be building required just like previous releases of city advent calenders. We may see scenes like the witch with cauldron and the dwarve sitting at a table. On a side note its great to see so many australian castle fans posting in this topic.

Hello Rebecca, no problems down here in country VIC with TNT. Did you manage to get those GG's at the cheaper price?

Its a pity you missed out when lego online had it for $149. Even with the standard shipping rate you would have been able to get it well under the current retail price. I was lucky enough to get in early for mine and it arrived at my door within a week (standard shipping, i must have just scraped in with their shipping run). I do hope the other guys who ordered the GG at this price has had it arrive by now.

David Jones currently has the cafe corner discounted and it has been in the stores since pre christmas. Depending on how well sales went, it may decide if we the green grocer in DJ stores. DJ is the only store that i believe will stock the green grocer considering it had been the only one to stock the CC so far. There is a couple of online stores but none have it stocked yet and shipping would be for free on one (bricknet) and about $5 on the other (bttw).

Go for the crawler, i dont know how many opportunities you will have to get a lars and jawa's. You can always make the base stronger with a little reinforcement.

Maybe my 60 odd rebel troopers could give your 1000 odd troopers a run for their money some day...lol...In all seriousness i love building my armies up just last night i counted up my castle crown soldiers and i have about 450 (all from sets and i have bought no castle BPs and just one chess set). I work hard for my money and like you mate i have a garage full of lego and nothing gives me more joy than watching my nephews with my crownies, unicorns and dwarves fighting against 300 odd falcons, 200+ skeletons and other smaller factions such as dragons, scorpians and bulls. Its is a sickness but i love it..lol

I couldnt believe my eyes...it only took 7 days and it may have been earlier except for the monday public holiday. This was in fact quicker than express shipping parcels i have received in the past. Just got to find time to build it now..lol..maybe easter

After ordering a $149 AUD Green Grocer a week ago i received mine yesturday, not bad considering it was only standard shipping. I am so looking forward to building it along with my new town plan and market street. My town will start to look half decent.

I just checked my dwarves sheilds...they have solid gold borders like the crownies. I know shape has nothing to do with it but when i noticed the stud within the border, it look like the skeletons design. Looks like we will just have to wait and see who is on whos side....Least i have my 300 hundred odd black falcons in the mean time to battle my crownies. :-)

What a beautiful set, TLC give the designer a pay rise immedietly. I was lucky to order one of these while they were on sale to us aussies ;-) but dont worry lego the $100 you saved me will be spent on more sets like this. Carn't wait to watch my kids rescue residents in distress from those upper level windows with the fire fighters.

My apologies if this has already been mentioned but it looks like according to the new picture the elves will have a similar style sheild to the skeletons (a studded border). Could this confirm they are a evil faction.
