I am almost 16 now (3 days!) and I have been playing with lego since I was about 5, I have not had a "dark age" as so many people speak of, as of yet. My close friends know about my hobby. They understand about it but they also think I am crazy! Anyway, they all have hobbies of their own, one of my friends has lots of warhammer so we are quite similar. Alot of people at my school do not know about my hobby, I guess the people I do not tell are the people who would over-react and make fun at me. My parents support me in my hobby. Before I was 12 they used to buy me sets but when I got a bit older and I found Bricklink and eBay I started to get things myself. Still, they buy me Lego for my birthday and christmas. I don't think I would pack it all in becuase one person saying something to me. I don't want to ever stop playing and buying Lego, I have so much fun building with it and talking about it on websites and forums, here being the best! I would hate to put it all in a box and sell it because I would love fond memories as well as some great sets. Jon.

Usually for us christmas weather is disappointing. It gets very cold and windy but not cold enough for snow so we are just cold and there is no fun in it. But, hopefully this winter will be a little more colder... it has not snowed on christmas day for years :/ Jon.

Christmas lights are usually cheap and plastic is weaker than normal lights so it will be hotter. I don't know exactly what effect this will have on the lego but it could do any of what you said. Maybe you could get some sort of lego built lights.. not sure if they are available but I remember seeing some light sensor on the lego s@h. Hope your display goes well and looks great! :) Jon.

Well, they erm... they look strange really *wacko* The colours are ugly, the cars themselves look odd and it seems that there are too many new pieces in them.. why couldn't TLC put the money they spend on these news parts into something else?? The sets look not much like lego.. all those molded engines and front pieces make them look cheap like megablox (no filter needed). Lets hope we see some greater stuff like the city sets instead of these. But thanks again to Sam for giving us this news! Jon.

Looks good. Not sure either about the age, who knows if this is an early box or maybe the new world city sets have a lower age. It looks like the helmets are actually chrome, not black as I had thought. Jon.

To me it looks better, as it is more movie accurate as it has a darker shade and also it looks better then the old one as it was a bit comic-looking. Jon.
