  1. This is the one Hero Factory set I was considering purchasing, so I'm glad to see and hear that it is an impressive set.
  2. Considering I own so many of those ships, I can't believe I forgot to take them into account. Thanks for reminding me.
  3. Favorite Series: 1 Favorite Series 2 Figure: Mexican (Mariachi) Favorite Series 1 Figure: Caveman Although I have yet to purchase any Series 2 figures, I'm basing my preference on total number of figures in each series I like. For Series 1, there were 9 must-have figures while series 2 only has 7. The figures of Series 2 look great, but I just don't want as many of them. As much as I love the Spartan like so many others, I have been waiting for a Mariachi Player for years, ever since I first acquired so many trumpets/horns in the Wild West sets and needed a good use for them, so I picked the Mexican. I can't wait to have a whole band!
  4. Thanks. Yes, shortly after posting, I found where it defines the requirements to access the PM system. I'll get right on those 2 posts.
  5. I was able to vote (as my previous post suggests), but did anyone else have difficulty voting? A day or two after I had voted the first time, I received an email notifying me there was an error with the poll system and requested I resubmit my votes. Sadly, I couldn't remember my exact voting record so I may have switched one or two from my first vote. However, I still went with the dark green cypress since of all the pieces, I'd appreciate that addition the most.
  6. I agree that the US price is quite fair. I assumed it would be less than the Toy Shop since it wasn't as large a set. Is this the first Lego set to ever have an official minifigure count with 1/2 of a figure? I've been collecting for approximately 20 years, and I can't think of any other instance.
  7. Congratulations to everyone! I was simply blown away by the circus design, so I'm happy to see it got 1st place (no offense to other entrants). It was great to see such variety of themes in everyone's designs. By the way, I find myself unable to send PMs. I read and followed the Help instructions, but cannot find the Messenger function. Is it because I'm still listed in the "I'm New!" member grouping, which I assume has certain restrictions placed on it?
  8. I also agree with this one. I never had the chance to buy any Lego sets using the piece in its original green color, so new dark green versions of it would be great! I'm surprised there weren't any reddish brown curved slope options since they would work well for customized boat hull shapes. For my latest MOC, I really need parts of that type and color. In the place of being able to vote for such parts, I opted for dark green curved slopes since I'd love to see more of those as well.
  9. I agree. The Obi Wan figure is especially intriguing due to the way the hair was designed. Love the clone trooper too.
  10. It's such a challenge to pick just one. Currently, I've bought the Wizard, Jester, and Knight's Showdown sets but would love to get the Prison Tower. I suppose I prefer the Prison Tower over the King's Castle due to its more unique architecture. (The King's Castle feels more like an extreme update of 6074 and less like a true continuous evolution of Lego set design. Not to mention the King's Castle also seems too "kiddy.")
  11. I've been looking forward to finally seeing pics of this set. I'm glad I ordered the Winter Toy Shop early, before it later went on back-order. Definitely, I'll get this to expand my winter village. Thanks again for the pic!
  12. LDD-only Category Entry Steampunk/Adventurer/Action(?) Category Parts Count: ~1830 In search of fabulous riches, Captain Crowe and his famous Golden Gander airship finally arrive at the legendary Oasis of Huumbabaloo, only to find...tourists sunbathing, swimming, and playing in the sands! This is my first Lego MOC, and I wanted it to demonstrate a method I use for creating the proper shape for dirigibles as well as pointed-dome roofs on minarets. Brickshelf Gallery with LXF File
