Any idea as to why it is so expensive?

So do the full loops have any straights or no?

So I am thinking of backing this but not sure if it will work with my trains... I have the yellow cargo train, red cargo train, horizon express, and the maersk train. Will these tracks work with my trains? What is the best backing option if they do work with my trains?

Any other way to get the special edition E44 without dropping one grand?

But my problem is that since it is old, the whole chassis includes the battery box, and since I believe the battery box is dead, I don't understand how I could fix it...
