  1. Wellll we definitely need and want a new minifig of this certain character I won’t be spoiling. People who saw the latest Book of Mando episode know
  2. The Dark Trooper set looks excellent. Bet a lot of people will buy a couple to build a larger hallway (and have more Dark Troopers of course).
  3. With any luck, if the sides can be attached differently without much hassle that would already help a lot. The cup would still be too shallow (and the front too arched) to fit a human head but it could at least pass as Luke’s Rebel bicycle helmet
  4. The answer to that question should be obvious as it is explained in my previous post. I thought it was tilted at first too, but when you look at the side it actually isn’t. The side part is shaped more or less correctly (a tiny bit too egg shaped but ok) and angled correctly. If the top would be tilted forward and the sides stay as they are the helmet would be fine. But that is not how they designed it and as a result they completely botched this helmet. Perhaps don’t tell other people what they should or shouldn’t collect A stud in the middle of this particular print looks awful. It completely screws up the logo. Lego should be better than that.
  5. Has anyone who thinks it looks great actually compared it to the real helmet in the movie(s)? The top of the front (what is that called, the brim?) goes up so high that it would reach a balding person’s hairline. If Luke would wear this helmet his entire forehead would be exposed, and as a result of the front going up too high the goggles are too high as well. Also the front of the real helmet is straight while this one is arched, the cup of the helmet is way too shallow for a human’s head to be able to fit in, the Rebel Alliance logos are almost on top of the helmet and can’t be properly seen looking at it from the front, and whoever designed this helmet has clearly never looked at the back of the real thing because the curve goes down so deep it would end up inside the back of the wearer’s neck. And then there is the stud in the middle of the Rebel logos… This particular helmet is such an utter design fail that I legitimately laughed out loud when I saw the pictures. The proportions are completely whack and it is anatomically incorrect That being said… liking it is perfectly cool of course
  6. That Luke Skywalker helmet doesn’t even remotely look like his helmet. Easily the worst one they have done yet
  7. The Lego Store down here sells the Marvel figures individually so I quickly got one of each to be sure to prevent any out of stock scenarios.
  8. Unless we are getting a Daniel Fleetwood Star Wars LEGO figure this wouldn't be the thread to talk about it.
  9. As a kid I'd probably rather have another Star Wars set of the same price with 3 cool(er) minifigs + vehicle instead of a book & yellow Luke who currently fits with nothing. As an adult, the yellow Luke doesn't appeal to me either and Lego lost a sale because of their choice of minifige (I would have bought the book if they for example included an exclusive minifigure like the new red protocol droid), but of course that is just my opinion.
  10. As much as I may like this set, the content of the box isn't anywhere near special enough to justify a 300,-euro price tag (IMO).
  11. There will (have to) be a lot more minifigures and other stuff in the set if it's going to be such an expensive set. I don't like the viewports being just the yellow transparant bricks though. It looks cheapish and the brown studs beneath show through, so that will need to be fixed somehow. Other than that it looks fine to me! This will be an expensive Star Wars Lego summer
  12. Xizor died in Shadows of the Empire.
  13. A-tembo has a Wampa Cave on their website which includes a Snowspeeder, and they had a Battle of Hoth set in their Delft store this past week. The Battle of Hoth is not on their website, but they had at least one box on the shelf in-store. It might be worth taking a look or calling the store to see if they still have it.
