Sadly those dates don’t work for me, my LUGs annual show is the weekend after so I expect there will be a lot of last minute building that will need to be done during that time.

Finally got down to building. I have new-found respect for the Speed Champions designers, it is fiendishly difficult to get any sort of detail at a 6-wide scale!!!

Haha is your mom joining again this year? What would she like in trade? Found 400 packed and ready to go. Got a dog but unfortunately the pricing of previous years' set is pretty high at the moment, bricklink is cheaper. Let me know if you're still interested though and I can track them down.

I can get Year of the Dog sets for about EUR10 and previous years' ones as well if there is any interest. Am interested in the Minifigure Factory (5005358) if anyone has spares at non eye-watering prices. Ahh, define larger quantity? I have some (probably a few hundred, not sure if that is sufficient). I have the flesh ones in both 1x2 and 1x4 probably in the thousands if you are interested.

Does a Lego car count? I.e. a Lego non-Speed Champions car but made to Speed Champions specs.

Is Propellen or Svanen closer or are they all about the same? I booked a room at the Propellen just because I've stayed a couple times before and know the place but wouldn't mind trying the Svanen as well.

I found a single room at the Hotel Propellen (across the road from the Village) at a pretty-cheap-for-Denmark-but-not-quite-as-cheap-as-Legoland-Village prices - you might want to look into that...

Sadly no! This year was my first ever EB event..

First insider tour dates for next year are 23-35 May, which would be perfect to attend before the EB event. Now, all I have to do is to be successful in the insider tour ballot...........

I can confirm that this is true for me. I’m not particularly active on Eurobricks (actually I’m just a lurker who looks at other people’s MOCs most of the time!) and I happened to chance on last years’ event thread which fortitiuously happened to coincide with a meeting I was going to attend in Munich for work. i had a lot of fun, absolutely did not regret attending and am eagerly looking forward to this years’ event! Sadly can’t mix it up with a work trip (unless you work for Lego I don’t think anyone ever travels to Billund for work!) but will be there anyway.

Well at least I can investigate. Need to decide whether to fly in and out from Billund, or one of Copenhagen, Amsterdam or Frankfurt, or some combination of this, each with their own pros and cons.

Are these dates confirmed? If so I can start making travel plans - getting to Bilind can be a bit complicated for me!
