Fav Exotic Breakfast Toastable/Microwavable?
Lt. Col. Thok replied to Lt. Col. Thok's topic in Community
It's not wrong, it's just inhumane. Just like punching kittens. -
Due to the debate in the other toast thread see here), I've expanded the selection and included other, non-toasted items. I do encourage the "toastees" and the "anti-toastees" to debate, but let's keep it at a reasonable level. Perhaps you like something else with your toast...

Holy crap! I didn't think I'd get this big of a response! My personal favorite is the bagel - not quite a donut, but not quite toast either. An inbetweener, the he-she of toastables!

Just a simple poll to find what members like.

SHOCKER! That is depressing. Another bastion of my childhood falls.... Just as long as they don't put the jonas brothers (gag!) in a comic....*shudder*

Excellently done! The renegade trooper is fantastic, while the commando is a true work of art. Is the torso for Stormtrooper X custom?

Now taking YOUR ideas for NEW PARTS - LAST DAYS!
Lt. Col. Thok replied to Bonaparte's topic in LEGO Pirates
Definitely bayonets for reasons previously stated (integral part of history) Mortars, also for reasons previously stated Bricks like this but with two studs 90 degrees apart (instead of the present 180 degrees) A variety in Epaulette colours (not just blue, red and gold, please, but also green and brown, with a greater occurence of black) A faction that is not bluecoats (gasp!). Preferably green or black; however bluecoats would be acceptable (grudgingly) Printed leg pieces for pirates (pockets please!) A globe would be nice.... A new beard piece - shorter and more rounded on the bottom That's about it. -
I didn't even notice my own birthday thread. Thanks guys! For my birthday, I got some Redcoat impulses, but my main gifts were a trip to Toronto to see Coldplay( ) and a Rammstein live CD ( ). I did get a bucketload of cash, so I plan to get more redcoats.

Not necessarily! Look at occupied France - they spoke French! It only makes sense for them to retain their native tongue. And besides, you forced the native americans to speak English. Oh, and nice work on the battle!

RedCoat vs BlueCoat discussion thread
Lt. Col. Thok replied to Captain Cannon's topic in Pirate MOCs
I have a strange and sudden urge to whack a bluecoat....but I'll suppress it in order to say this: The three bluecoat teams battle it out for supreme dork ruler. Then they face against a team of redcoats hand picked by the judges. What do you say? -
Gah! Nude frenchmen! Nevermind... Nice work, beyond the obvious pantless issue. Well done.

Bubadabubada....what? Can someone please explain in clear English what is going on?

Tripy 8 Bit LEGO Brick Music Video

That is one fantastic find! Thanks for showing us how to get high on Lego and video games. -
Had "pealed" the train before and merely gobbled it up, causing TheBrickster to crossly exclaim....

...And then they realized we were better and fought alongside us! Impressive ship, Joey! Glad to see I made aboard.

Large piece of paper with the words "Gone to get more large paper and crayons" scrawled in crayon. As the group stood with a confused look on their face, an APC carrying the local crazy gun nut, Thok, roared across the platform, causing....

Lt. Col. Thok replied to Doctor Sinister's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Good to see you back in army mode, doc..... Interesting cylindrical technique, but I spotted where it was from right away. Can we have some pictures of it at work? -
Something like a shrunken head by its "hair". Up closer observation, one would find that it is not a head, but...

What was the last movie you watched?
Lt. Col. Thok replied to EbonHawk's topic in Culture & Multimedia
District 9. By far the best alien film (and that includes the movie ALIEN) I have ever seen. Both realistic and intriguing, with action, suspense and true emotion. And great CGI, I mean, that movie is epic because of it. -
HERE Some recent speculation has lead to the (assumed) confirmation of a Disney remake of the animated film, which sounds pretty exciting but is a bit saddening (no real Beatles....). Apparently, there will also be a Broadway musical version... BTW, this not just reported on Wikipedia, originally found in this morning's Toronto Star (a leading Ontario newspaper) Entertainment pages (although not the Broadway thing....)

I'll be back, maybe not, Terminator Co Bankrupt

That, my good sir, is a matter of opinion. Nevertheless, it is a shame. -
Monstosaurus Rex Rampage
Lt. Col. Thok replied to SlyOwl's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Nice little Jurassic Park rip-off! Nah, I'm only kidding. Great work on the dinosaur, it's pretty scary. As for the Legosaurus? By far, you've improved, but it still is great. Where is the red hat from? -
Interesting design! From what i can see, you've done an excellent job with the stained glass. However, I would recommend you exchange the solid bricks for trans ones. As for the rest of it, I'm not a fan of the use of train doors, although I do understand that LDD has a horrible door selection (trust me, i know from experience what a b!tch finding the right doors is ) I'd like to say more, but I need to see interior pics. Can you show us some?
