Following secret clone protocal, Thok had secreted parts of a small clone blaster in the secret compartments in his uniform (secretly, you see). He grudgingly surrendered his weapons and ammunition (with the exception of his secret pistol ammo). Thok looked around at the others. Jim had a disgusted look on his fae, Oky just looked sad, while Wouwie and pr0 frowned. The other clones stood at attention, worried but concealing it. Thok siddled up to the other two clones. Thok: Hotel Alpha Veritable Evo Thiera Hotel Evo Parrot Alpha Red Thiera Sierra? (Improvised code. ) The two clones grinned and nodded (in unison, which was kinda erie..). They were secretly following the secret code too. Thok continued to think as he and the others were loaded onto a transport now cuffed and detained. Perhaps, now that he was armed with newfound knowledge, he and the others could survive, maybe break away and spend the rest of the war elsewhere.. Thok's head jerked up, and he cleared his thoughts. What was he thinking! He was a clone, steadfast and loyal. Noone would ever kill him. ...Or would they? A quick jab in Thok's arm brought him back to reality... and then back out of it. He say the others were also being sedated...now, what had he been thinking of...he looked up, noting the celophane flowers of yellow and green... NOOO!!! Thok screamed in his head, or maybe it was out loud, he couldn't tell. He was an ARC commando. He would not be beat by trickery! Thok bit his lip, teeth passing through the skin into the tissue. That cleared his head almost completely. He watched his companions loll off, and he pretneded to do the same. By the grace of the Republic, he would save them! The speeder sped off, and Thok could not figure out where they were when they arrived. They were carried into a bunker, down several sets of stairs. They were all taken into a prison, but Thok was uncerimoniously kicked in the stomach as he was being led in. A gasp escaped his mouth, and he stood upright. Stupid, stupid!, he thought. The droids led him back up the stairs, down a long hallway and into an office-type space overlooking a parade ground.. A bearded man stood by the large window. "Welcome, Commander. You must have a lot of questions." Thok spluttered: "But... you're..." The man turned. Welcome to Jungle Sector 15, Commander Thok." It was Dooku. And, in the window, Thok saw lines upon lines upon rows (there must have been thousands!) of droids. Dooku spoke again. "Welcome to your new command." A voice from an unseen point in the room spoke. "That is, Lord Tyrannus, if he makes the right choice." A hologram stepped from the shadows. A dark-robed man stood in the hologram, hood up, smiling snidely. "This shall all be yours, Thok, if you do one thing for me." Thok blinked, at a loss for words. "Kill Jim Butcher and his band of fools, Thok, and this will be yours." Thok looked at the cloaked man, blinked agian, and thought. A plan began fermenting in hjis brain. Perhaps..this might just save his friends. If he didn't take this chance... Thok regained his composure and stared at the two cloaked comarades, and spoke the fatal words. "I'll do it." The pair smiled, and Thok was briefed on tomorrows events. Butcher&Co. would awake in one hour, and at this time tomorrow, they would be lead to a spot in the forest. Here, Thok would be separated, given a rifle and would be ordered to shoot them. His cooperation would determine the course of the battle on this planet. As Thok was being lead back to his cell, he smiled. He could pull this off. His friends could be saved! In the communal cell, the others began to awake. As the awoke, Thok assembled them and instructed them on tomorrows proceedings. It would be tough, but they could do it.

Very nicely done, lots of cool little features (my favourite is the little shark on the wooden rack). Its the little things that make it so good. On a related note, the use of baseplates as photographic backgrounds is okay...however, you let your camera wander a bit in a few pictures (as seen in the picture brought up by Skelotic). Still, though, very well done.

Vintage Minifigure Collection includes a pirate!
Lt. Col. Thok replied to General Armendariz's topic in LEGO Pirates
Indeed, that one pirate is a bit diappointing (I was gunning for a vintage redcoat...) However, I shan't skip this one. -
I've uploaded the last of the pictures. That's all for my original batch of photos. Do you want more? Comment in the new poll.

Excellent find, I must get one.

Nicely done, but it's kinda obvious its a fake sign. One, fortress is spelt wrong, Two...Sentai Fortress for $19!? I kinda doubt that would ever happen.. Still, though, pretty funny.
-
Very nicely done - I might just have to try that with my 'Mine....

Happy birthday! I am sick of being rickroll'd, but....it's still pretty funny!

Lt. Col. Thok replied to Jasbrick's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
WOW! I must honestly say that this is your greatest minifigure creation to date! (but the others are still pretty damn good...) Could you please tell me where the following are from: -Watch -Monocle -Steam Cable -Gun -Torso Decal Once again, great job! -
Very nicely done - perhaps you could post a video of it rolling?

How utterly depressing. A life cut short - by something that brightens life. My condolences to the family.

Briktish Knight of St. Crispin Heavy Infantry

LOL! Nicely done! Wait part did you use for the grenade holder? -
Great review! In my opinion, the set highlights are the cows, the tractor and the tan fedora.

Vig. 58b Disclaimer: As opposed to my other pirate mocs, this was an experimental battle scene, to see if Pirates lego + snow + Ketchup would equal a realistic battle scene. In this Moc, we return to Upper Canada and our intrepid redcoats... ..are under attack! The survivors. An artilleryman preps a shot... ...But meets an unfourtunate end. The Colonel (me, yet again ) prepares to lead his men in a gallant attack... ...But gets swept off his horse by a bullet... ..and killed. The grisly scene so far. EDIT: Reaction positive! I will finish! The Remaining Redcoats are still under fire, leaderless and gunless. "What do we do, Sarge?" "We charge! It's what the Colonel woulda wanted." "Are you sure?" "Yes! Let's go!" "England!" The Sarge is plucked off by the enemy... ...but the lone redcoat charges on! Only to be hit by a cannon ball. (Ouch) The grisly (not grizzly ) scene. Questions/Comments? Link to Part 1 and Part 2 Thus concludes my Pirates in the Snow miniseries. If you want more, comment in this topic's new poll.

Thok: Run! Get to the Chopper! JD: Hm? Thok: Nevermind...looks like that new guy nabbed him. Nice work back there! JD: Thanks...You too. Thok: No really! I think that, with a little work, you could go far, kid. I mean, you could get your own unit, like me! Or rather, like I had... JD: Thanks, Thok. *starts to walk away* Thok: Oh, and another thing? JD: Ya? Thok: What...position is Anakin Skywalker in during the future? JD: *squeaks with fear* Evil! He's the Emperor's second in command! A smug grin comes to Thok's face. He now had what evidence he needed from JD, and he intended to destroy any attempts by Skywalker to seize power, as he believed he would. Thok thanked JD, and ran off to join the others.

$75 CAD? Forget it! I don't care if its "Hard to Find", its too expensive! What a shame, though...
-
Very nicely done - it captures the steampunk feel well.

This just in: I spoke with a representative for Lego Canada - three large shipments across the country (we're talking thousands of sets) are backed up - TLG didn't prepare for spring demand. Much of what was being sent has been forced to be used to fulfill S@H orders. Bummer.

What was the last movie you watched?
Lt. Col. Thok replied to EbonHawk's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Frost/Nixon - It truly deserved the nomination for best picture. The guy playing Nixon, Frank Langella, had his mannerisms down pat. 10/10 -
Thok: "You know why, Captain. The Commander's a loose cannon - no discipline, all moves." Captain: "Well, sir, I - Wait, incoming transmission...." Thok: *Into commlink* "Oky? Could you come and pick us up?" Oky: "kay, we'll be there in roughly 20 minutes. JD is a few miles ahead." Thok: "Good" *ends transmission* "The future-trooper is as few miles north of us. Let's go get some answers before they arrive." *turns, gasps, re-establishes transmission* "Oky? You better hurry up and see this...

Thok tried beating one of the monsters with his rifle, but it was no use. The thing just ran and ignored him. Soon, the monster reached a clearing, wher Thok was uncerimoniously thrown down. After rolling a few meters, he came to a stop and listened. He catiously got up, setting his equipment up for a quick diagnostic to see if anything was damaged. Nothing was. He turned. The monsters that had taken JD, the Captain and him were gone. The Captain was a few meters from Thok. Thok: "Soldier, how are you?" Captain: *groan* "Bruised and bloodied, sir. You?" Thok: "I'm good. According to the equipment, the package is, too." Captain: "Good...Command would fillet us if it wasn't, right sir? Thok: "Indeed. Damn those monsters." *bends down and helps Captain up* "Almost asked the future-trooper about...well, you know what I think about Skywalker." Captain: "I can't see why sir..."
