Doctor Who, Torchwood, Sarah Jane Adventures...
Plural replied to The Kid's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I completely agree with you JINZO. Prison Break is a prime example. I enjoyed the first series of Prison Break where they actually broke out. Then at the end of series 2 I was like "Oh, he's been put in another prison. How original." When the Doctor reaches his 13th regenaration, I kinda hope it ends. It won't be for at least 5 years (my guess anyway) but if they pull some crazy way to keep him going longer, I'm pretty sure the stories will get (more) repetive. They will do it though. Dr Who is too much of a money making programme for the BBC. Apart from Tellytubbies, I can't think of any other BBC show that has it's own toy line out. -
Haha, good show sir. Very good show indeed. Made me chuckle.

My mistake. Sorry.

This thing looks insane, but in a good way. I love the way you try to incorporate colour into all your mocs. Looking forward to see how you use the big bionicle mask.

You've totally persuaded me to buy this set. Its got so many useful parts and even parts I've never seen before. And I have to agree with your sentiment that these Bionicle playsets are undiscovered classics with awesome parts. Cheers for the review.

For Mrs Lovett's face try buying Aunt May's face from one of the spiderman fleshie sets. It's the only old women face I can think of. -
A re-release you say? I has to be an X-wing then. It's always an X-wing. . I wouldn't be too shocked if it was a Hoth-Base, because of the sheer demand for it. I'm not sure though, I think it could be something different

Just finished watching "Planet of the Ood" thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm beginning to think I might have been wrong about my initial assumptions that nothing will come of this. Perhaps they'll develop this in the future. Or perhaps it'll just be a daft little thing that gets mentioned from time to time. A bit like the way "Allons-y" gets mentioned repeatedly. Who knows? -
Oh yeah, my friend showed me this, it's legit apparently. But there's no fatalities. It's a shame as well. I was looking forward to ripping out Aquamans spleen

This is awesome. Really awesome. Awesomely awesome. Did I mention it's awesome? I love all the small details which add up to make it truly great. Awesome job. -
I'm guessing they probably hang a few sheets up when they take pictures of their MOCs. That would be my guess anyway, I'm not 100% certain.

This game looks awesome. I love the little bat-copter that gets built and where the second player gets dangled below. It reminds me of Batman fights a shark. It seems that Catwoman has the same whip attack as Indy from LSW. That's a bit disapointing.

Thats really cool to hear and it looks like a very interesting exhibit. That kid in the lion looks less than happy though. -
Lovin what you've got so far. Keep going the way you're going and this is gonna be awesome. SHOOP DA WOOP

I played Spartan Total Warrior. It was a decent enough game, but I never bothered getting any of the other ones. The new viking one looks rather good though.

I did see this on flickr and I love the finished product. I have to compliment you on your 'shroom design brilliant use of construction helmets. Awesome job.

Thanks for sharing this copmike, I thoroughly enjoyed it and I found it interesting to see how TLC has developed its business strategy to cater for adult fans. It's amazing how much one man can do for a business' attitude towards customers. -
Yes. Yes you can. You know you want to.
-
Brilliant, I love it. I had a good chuckle over this.
-
I'm lovin the grey one and I like how they made the sharkmouth out of actual bricks rather than put a decal or sticker over it.

A nice liitle scene and an awesomely SNOTty road.

You seem to have missed the point of this thread. This is where people share what creations they are planning/building. If you wre trying to put forward ideas for a contest, maybe you should put it hear: The contest thread. I hope I've helped.

*Sigh* I'd like to think I was like Boba Fett or Mace Windu, but alas I'm probably more like Kit Fisto; a big cheesy grin but rubbish when it comes to a big fight.

Doctor Who, Torchwood, Sarah Jane Adventures...

If I remember correctly bees are actually disappearing, as in real life. Heres one article which mentions it: Where are all the bees going? AndI was joking about the Sarah Jane Smith thing. -

I thought the pyroviles looked really awesome, they were big, imposing brutes. I have no idea? Sarah Jane Smith perhaps? Evalina also said "the medusa cascade" which the Master also mentioned last series, according to Russel T. Davies that will come back to haunt us. And whenever we've heard it we've also heard of plantes disappearing. And both the Adipose and Pyrovile home planets disappeared. See what I'm getting at. I suppose it's better than that rather strange thing you've got with Babs Gordon.
