I have ordered a CTT for AU$90 - B&N have shipped already, so hopefully its on the way just fyi from shopping trip today - myer brisbane city have slave 1 and fire station reduced, also one of the nearly new atlantis sets reduced as well - kmart garden city (bris) have the sort and store minifig heads - Big W garden city have quite a few star wars minifigure sets - the just finished hoth sets, if you are still after them - nothing new at toys r us - City lego sticker book seems to be in a few places now, includign Big W and target anyone know a good place to buy mars mission sets - my son has decided he wants these :-( - just a little late

Myer Brisbane city had new police and all new star wars sets (non-exclusive) - plenty of emrald nights - I got one of each from christmas monies except the gungan set - this is still way overpriced compared to US prices (even with 25% off) I noticed target in the city had the new star wars sets as well and police too - still full price though Nothing new in Toyworld yet

I have seen a couple of ones recently - the atlantis sets I think they were - Myer Carindale had one of those, and I think I saw them at target or bigW - but they seem to be very patchy Toyworld in brisbane city had about 10 knights advent calendars yesterday at $40 each and target had 4 box of S2 minifigs if you are still after them

if anyone is after the grand emporium, there are still 2 sets at DJ's Carindlae, QLD - $250 - a bi rich for me :-(

I was in Myer Brisbane city today - 20% off and they had lots of Harry Potter, city, fire station and the like - they also had set 8214-1: Lamborghini Polizia, which I recall some of you guys were after - 5 sets were on the trolley, in case you want them

The DJ's at the Garden City in Brisbane has toys - on the lower level near the kids wear - I've always found the city store to have a bigger variety

Hi, came home to find a new toysrus catalogue and a myer catalogue featuring toys - the toysrus was a little dissapointing - it some some older sets at 40% off - toy story set and space police 5973 - most other items were at normal pricing, including public transport ($160) and toysrus truck ($70) - they do have a lego dice keyring offer with purchase of $35 of games, ut thats about it - Myer has very good discount on endor base ($150) - games seem to have good discounts (20% or so) - they have the official lego annual ($13) and a few other reductions - grevious fighter ($79) and slave 1($119)

target has all the lego games too - as does myers and BigW - at least in Carindale

Hi, lego club mail has arrived today - confirming that public transport set is a TRU exclusive - as is one of the hero factory set

I believe Big W have two agents sets - but not from 2008 series - haven't seen any of those for quite a while now - the best bet for old sets that I have seen in Toyworld in Springwood/underwood - may be worth a call, but they are still 20 minutes south of town

Hi, as luck would have it, I was in Brisbane city today - the myer centre toyworld is pretty good - it has most of the recent sets, inclduign castle, which so far looks like a toyworld exclusive - they are pricey though - always at RRP - there is a second toyworld in the brisbane mall, but they have pretty much the same items. The myer centre has myers - has a lot of the recent star wars sets, and trains, inclduign train station and street crossing - all at RRP - target is also in the Myer centre and they have the Racers series. Big W is not too far away either - at the bottom end of the mall, and is cheaper (everyday price) for new star wars and hero sets - they also have some city sets and a few others, but are running low. They did have 4 of the lego games there today, including the harry potter board game. D.J's in the city don't have much new at the moment - I normally find the range varies between all of them, and you need to do the rounds to see whats there - certainly if there are no sales, then BIG W is the cheapest - if a sale, then go with that - although I don't think there are any this weekend - was there something in particular you were after ?

Went to Myer Brisbane city at lunchtime today - they have the buy 2, get third free sale and all the new star wars sets were being unpacked - at least slave 1, plo kloon and general grevious starfighter, as well as train sets an level crossing

TRU at garden city had the farmer again today $5 (as well as the wizard) - they also had the new star wars AT-AT for $170 - should be cheaper than SOH without the postage and maybee come on special if the upcoming sale delivers the goods lego games are also at TRU

I was able to get a wizard set yesterday at garden city, but all the farmers were gone :-) - just not fast enough

lots of goodies at Kmart today sunnybank and garden city had lego bags - these are the ones that are brick shaped, in blue, yellow and red - priced approx $25 sunnybank also had all the new lego games (RRP) and new S/W sets

Hi, TRU at upper mt gravatt/garden city,didnt have the wizard - I did ask about series 2 minifigs, spoke to the manager, but he said he knew they were coming but had no idea when, also same for the lego games. He did find a box of series 1 minifigs our the back though and sold me some of there for $3 minue 20% with the voucher - still plenty left today I went to Big W and they had plo kloons starfighter for 36.80 approx and gnl grevious starfighter for 78.80 approx, cheaper than target with 20% - all the other star wars set they had were at rrp-5%, normal big w pricing - I thought these 2 sets wouldnt be this cheap for a long time, so I got both good hunting

I saw the CTT at Big W today as well - $194 as well - brisbane city agree that target sale was not much - much better in previous years - last years medieval village was the best Toyworld in Brisbane city had many many lego boxes (packing boxes) at lunchtime in front of the shelves - I could read on the side they had CTT and hoth wampa cave as well as hero factory sets, and the recent fire sets as well - not sure what else there was - couldn't read all the labels I asked about minifigs - they think series 2 is in sept and then 3 and 4 next year - they spoke like they knew

where did you find the impulse sets ?

Hi, saw a couple of interesting items today - TRU had lego foldout boxes for $20 (with a lid) and $25 as a basket - both fold out flat for use, and then zip up all four corners to form the box/basket Big W had the ultimate sticker book $13 and the Lego Star wars collectors book (with Luke minifig on the front for $30 bought the sticker book :-)

news from lunchtime in brisbane city big w still has venator sets ($129), pig farms but no landspeeders I could see. They had one of the older space police sets reduced (from $68 to $34 with the scanner- its the one with 2 vehicles.) Myers have 5 - 6 cargo trains, 1 level crossing, and a few fire brigades left Target have new spongebob and world racers in (still full price though)
