  8. Hi, david jones have 25% off til sunday
  9. have to agree - my kids are a bit old for them now, and I don't see me wearing one - I wouldn't mind one of the adult ones though :-)
  10. BigW Brisbane City today had a large range of kids watches - city, star wars and a couple of others - all for $30 - no sign of adult watches though
  11. The new hoth base set was at toysrus in brisbane (garden city) yesterday - $169 though - they also had smaller minifig stand ($15) but no series 5
  12. they had the 16 only - in brisbane city colours yellow, blue, black, red - 1 of each though
  13. thanks for the tip re heroica - picked up the big 3 from Myers today for $70 you were right about torworld - not too much there - lots of lego but even offer doesn't bring price down much Big W had minifigure stand - $20
  14. 1.David Jones (Brisbane-Carindale) have the Heroica sets, and a few of the previous larger sets 2.Has anyone seen them at Myers yet, to take advantage of board game offer 3.just received Mr Toys toyworld offer - buy 1 lego, get 2nd half price - Thursday to Sunday 4.not trying to rehash old territory, but I really like to see all the comments about B&N and other alternate places to lego - has been a couple of really hot tips I have been able to take advantage offer - any post that shows how to get cheaper lego in AU is OK by me 5. without going on about pricing, the heroica sets seem to be very similarly priced in the US, UK and FR - doesn't seem any reason to import those :-)
  15. BigW catalogue with pricing now online http://catalogues.bigw.com.au/portal/dynamiccatalogue?CatalogueID=13088022001068&pageview=two&gotopage=1
  16. Winter toy shop was in my local my toys today - $110
  17. In case anyne interested - I saw 2 winter toy shop setes for $110 at mr toys toyworld shop - mt gravatt, brisbane
  18. Go to the home page bn.com, and do a search for lego - then at the top of the page is a <sort by> selection - select "newest to oldest" (default is "top matches") and then scroll down the list - the pre-orders appear at the top of the list - at the moment about 2 -3 pages worth looks like B&N have just changed their site as well- looks a little different no details about dates though :-( somehow I wonder if this is a mistake - as you can't click through to the product - just says not found
  19. and the new star wars ewoks set is also at K-Mart (Brisbane - Garden City) P.s. B&N seem to have a lot of new sets listed - all for pre-order, which doesn't seem to work very well - but its at least a good guide to US pricing - millenium falcon for US$126 - thats got to come from overseas, if the price is double here is AU - hopefully they get some in stock
  20. Hi, Ewok attack was for $50 at Toys'rus at Garden City, Brisbane as well - and Big W city and Garden city had 2 of the pharoahs sets - scarab beetle and flying mummies. Big W city also had harry potter lego book - the bigger one with the mini figure for $30 they also had battle for genosis and the swamp speeder exclusive set for $50
  21. Big W have a couple of the sets online now - just for in store pickup, but it seems they are coming slowly pyramid - $148 Flying Mummy attack - $34.48
  22. apologies if this has been mentioned before - lego shop (AU) at home now has Pharaohs quest sets on-line - not that this is the best way to buy them, but hopefully indicates they are closer to arriving here - as many have said, most likely in June sales
  23. Hi, I was just looking through bigw.com.au online shop and noticed three interesting lego sets - lukes landspeeder for $42.87 - in case you missed one of these ones - Lego sort and store head for $38.93 - these are a great sorter, and look very fine - Pharoahs Quest Scarab attack for $7.72 - I don't think I've seen these for sale in Aus shops yet I put these three sets in a shopping cart and the postage was $7, which didn't seem too bad - it looks like they are all in stock
  24. Hi, just following up the POTC pricing from previous, www.mrtoys-games.com.au have all the sets listed - looks like RRP, same cost as per toysrus -they are listed as being available from 15/5, but previous dates have been much earlier than online Also note, they have the CARS 2 sets listed as being avail 15/5 - too many there to list them all
