Posades - About Xander, yes, he now has a fourth spot for artifacts, but unfortunately the electro gear is an accessory as well as the medal of glory, so you can't equip both at the same time

I'm not sure about that but perhaps you are right. I guess a normal hit wouldn't do that much damage anyways, so Shield is my best hope Benji's heart starts pounding. He was eager for battle.

Thats not necessarily true. For example, if attacking a dark enemy with a light AND darkness elemental weapon, it evens out to normal damage (see Quest #74 for fast reference). So technically I still think that I can cause damage. Well, I was going to have a very nice backup weapon, but someone decided to not get back in time to give it to me

Benji curses under his breath as he realizes that his crossbow will be largely ineffective against the rocky birds. 'A little damage is better than none at all.' He thought to himself. Benji attacks the male Roc from the back row, twice. OoC: Unfortunately my multipliers are playing games on me It will be the following (I think): Hit/2(Fire elemental/rock)*2(Wind elemental/flying)/2(Wind elemental/rock)/2(Earth elemental/rock)*2(encouraged)=Hit/2. So overall not too bad, but my best luck will be if I switch to bestial form on the first round.

OoC: Oh, like that transcended effect does me much good Actually, from all those automatons, I'm feeling like: Wow! These enemies must be tough. This will be interesting Benji snaps in delight as he feels his being rejuvinated by the presence of the automatons. "I'm liking these colorful guys already. We'll need to be careful not to lose them."

After seeing that round in Quest 73 where rollimg a Shield does nothing whatsoever, it makes me feel sort of dubious on whether the nerf was for the better or worse. Wasn't shield supposed to be the best roll? Not an 'aim'.

As people are asking about it, I suppose it is not self-explanatory. Personally I also see counterstriking as a kind of attack, but yeah, I guess some people see it differently.

Yes I also am really sure that fragile and encouraged effect counterstriking (its not in the rules?)

I think we should move on, people. Yes - it may be annoying, but at least you'll still be earning gold. If you want to go whine, do it in a different thread - this one is for Rules and FAQ, not complaints.

OoC: I want to lend Thalion the two gems for the duration of the quest, and also give him two grand potions. You say tough? Well Benji is tougher! Bring on the pain, Sandy.

OK, I think I have enough potions now (I have 8 health cores and 14 grand potions now, I hope its enough!) Yeah I'm really looking forward to this quest. I'm also eager to see how Beast Warrior will work out.
