Heroica RPG - Quest #42: The Meaning Of It All
Flare replied to Flare's topic in The Heroica Archive
The heroes don't have a chance to go after Trice because he and a large array of angry looking enemies come running into the salon with him. "Welllllllll welllllllllll......." A coarse unusual voice comes out of Dr. Trice's mouth, not at all like his previous behavior. "It looooks like we've got some dainty little heroes to try to stop us from world-domination." *spits* "Trice! After them! You, your son and the legion I have created for you must destroy these puny heroes, we can't let them stooooop us....." "Grrrrrrrrrrrrr..." Prepare for Battle! Enemies: Dr. Trice Type: Humanoid Level: 42 Health: 342/342 Ether: 12/12 Special I: Creation – Using the staff of power, Dr. Trice creates a new beast to join the battle against the heroes. Uses 2 ether. Special II: Absorb – Transfer 10 health from all bound opponents to self, regardless of row or SP. Uses 1 ether. Special III: Ether Steal – Completely drains the target’s ether and restores full ether to Dr. Trice. Drops: 620 gold, Super Deadly Venom, Mulled Wine, Neutralizer Note: Specials I and II rotate until no ether remains, in the case of no ether Special III can occur. Dr. Trice cannot be damaged until the staff is defeated. Staff of Life Type: Mechanical Level: 0 Health: 556/556 Special I: Creation – Using the staff of power, Dr. Trice creates a new beast to join the battle against the heroes. Uses 2 of Dr. Trice's ether. Special II: Life Guard – Protects all enemies from all damage and negative effects for the next turn. Drops: nothing Note: Dr. Trice cannot be damaged until the staff is defeated. Special I occurs until Dr. Trice is out of ether, and afterwards Special II will occur. The staff will create a new beast to join the battle instead of giving a free hit, at the cost of 2 ether from Dr. Trice. Possessed Adam Type: Humanoid Level: 31 Health: 341/341 Special: Animal Lover - Heals animal with lowest health with 20 of his own health. Drops: nothing Deadly Viper Type: Vermin Level: 12 Health: 69/69 Special: Poisonous Bite – Causes 4 damage and the poisoned-effect to the target. I'm sorry, I missed your recent post. As for not having any issues with you, I do have issues with you, but they're not any different from the main issues I have with the other people who are against me, so I have nothing specific to say to you. If you want to live without retardedness, then vote for BigCam. He has a condition apparently that is forcing him to act retarded I don't see why you think I'm so odd, except for the first post I made. -

Whoa whoa whoa, I'm a guy And I haven't played as a scum with you, I don't know what you're talking about. You're thinking of someone else. Which really downgrades any argument of yours against me. Apology accepted. What do you mean, the only other candidate? What about Hinckley? He's the one who was pushing for the mayor situation. I didn't have a word in it (well until I posted that retarded first post which has got everyone on my back). I don't understand what you people think you can learn from my lynch. When I'm lynched, and I turn up town, what will it teach you? That Hincks and Darkdragon are probably scum? They'll probably squirm out of that too. And as for the jedi temple mafia, I wasn't the godfather, I was a vanilla townie  I think you're confusing me with Tammo or someone. I live in Israel and I don't speak any french except the phrases Bonjour and Bote Avon. I still don't know what "Qu'est-ce que" means... I don't think its really fair for you to say that it is extremely recognizable, because it wasn't. And as I said earlier, by the time I had signed on and saw what pieces were posted in Night Zero, the thread was already locked and Day One was already a couple posts in. That's all I have to say for now. It's a pity that y'all are so intent on lynching me, I appreciate that at least some of you see through the blatant lies and accusations of the scum. And I want to add, that personally I think that voting for Hinckley would be the most beneficial for the future - his influence is much stronger on the game than mine, and it'll be easier for us to move on and find the scum after knowing whether Hincks is scum or not - although I strongly suspect that he is. Symbolic Vote: Hinckley -
I didn't take it from your idea, if you're wondering

The violent noises get louder and louder and quickly the genie pops in front of them, looking extremely worried and upset. "Friends!! Escape now, while you have a chance! Run! Flee! I'll take you back to your hall if you wish, but don't make me wait, I'm leaving now!!" The genie anxiously awaits the heroes' response.- 892 replies

I'm not sure exactly what your conclusion in this was... The first retarded post that I wrote, "...Perhaps you started the voting for me because you're trying to get on my good side? Eh? Well you're totally ont my good side never going to succeed with that scheme! I'm way ahead of you! Scummo!" Accusing you of trying to get on my good side as a scum isn't an accusation? Yes, every time that I've checked in here I've posted. Thanks, good to know, which removes my main suspicions of the poop-machine. Is that so? It seems that your original intent was choosing someone that nobody would want to kill by metagaming. But now you are claiming that the reason you voted for me was because I was the first name you didn't recognize. Contradiction. -

Do you guys think that there will be a need in the upcoming couple months of a quest for low-level heroes? I have an idea in mind for another quest... ... I'd like to host newbies this time, because it doesn't seem that there aren't enough quests that are really accessible to them. Although it seems that most of them are gone in Cap'n's quest ATM.

Why the heck are you voting for me because it would be most interesting? Either vote for me because you think I sound scummy, or admit that you're a mafia, scummo. Optimal lynch, because...? I don't see the basis of why everyone thinks that I'm the ideal lynchee. I agree with the following: Why am I getting blamed at all? Its not like I was advocating to be mayor (like Cornelius was). First everyone was voting for me as mayor without a real reason or me having a say in it, and now everyone is voting for me to be lynched without any real reason (perhaps because everyone was voting for me to be mayor? In that case, why not suspect Hinckley? He's the one who started it.) Why didn't I post the puzzle piece earlier today? Well, first off, I didn't post it in Night Zero because by the time everyone had gotten around to sharing their pieces I wasn't on, and by the next time I got onto the computer the thread was locked, and Day One up. In Day One it said that the puzzle had already been solved, so I didn't see a point in giving out my piece. Why did I not post it earlier today (literal today, not as in Day One)?? I live in a different time zone then most of you, which doesn't allow me to be posting at the same time that most of you are active. So I was not holding it back until the last moment on purpose. Wait, are you voting for me because I suggested that you were suspicious? Because if so, I really think that I'm getting voted for because no one has anyone good to vote for, and you're just choosing me because either: A. You're scum and so are the majority of the people who have been gaining up on me so far. B. You're stupid, your butt hurts, or you don't feel like actually thinking through which people seem the most suspicious. C. You have no one else better to vote for, so you might as well vote for me. It is? I couldn't make anything out of it. And I never knew that there is such thing as forcing a player to act like a baby It sounds sort of ridiculous. Are you guys sure that its possible to be hit by a "crappy action" like that? -

I DO have a puzzle piece: I know that doesn't prove that I am innocent, but it just seems to me that it is worthwhile to mention it. What I find interesting is that first everyone is voting for me as mayor, without a real reason, and now everyone is voting for me to be lynched, without a real reason. Why are you guys ganging up on me? And yes, I was just being silly with that first post. If you're going for someone for saying silly things, then I would recommend Big Cam. Stop going poop already. Trumpetking67, it seems to me that you keep switching sides. At first you're voting for me as mayor and a strong supporter, and when the tides change you were quick to switch sides to keep on the good side of the crowd. If I could vote, I would vote for you to be lynched. -
