  1. Not that I am not a fan of the Hobbit book, it was the first book in english that I read and I really like it. But I would rather see a continuation of the castle(fantasy) theme since they had trolls and dwarfs and they could add the elves from the collectable minifigs (why else would they make a hairpiece like that if not use it for more lines/sets). And there are also the Heroica boardgames, that just beg for being made in to minifig size (golems, new goblins/trolls, werewolves) and larger (maybe modular) sets. Also the main reason would be, they are not licensed and therefore cheaper.
  2. It was the same with me, I rally wanted Galactus and now that you mentioned the sentinels... I am sad, but maybe in the future, who knows.
  3. This is so awesome. I can hardly wait to see the finished versions of Ironman and Hulk. Also keeping my fingers crossed to see a Thing/Ben Grimm minifig in the future. Sigh, but waiting till may for the marvel line!!?? Sigh...
  4. My last set, is also my first SW set, its 8092 Luke's Landspeeder and I got it for 18€ because the shop had to sell the old stuff to make place for the new wave and it was the only one left (lucky me:)). Now I am officaly a Star Wars Lego fan.:)
  5. Thanks. Usually I print them at 300 dpi resolution and change them to 177 pixels wide, thats the perfect fit for the minifig torso. I use normal A4 office paper and double sided tape to put them on the fig. Its not the most spectacular way to do it, but it serves the cause.:)
  6. Here is the torso for the trooper (the comander I think) from the game Star Wars The old republic. Uploaded with ImageShack.us Here is a reference but its blue, mine is dark-red http://i686.photobucket.com/albums/vv226/Sialboats/TrooperBlue.jpg
  7. Here is a little something for the Star Wars fans out there. The decal for the shield of the Riot-Trooper. I took an ordinary ovoid shield from castle for the template. Since I dont have the gungan shields which would be better for this, but anyway here you go. Uploaded with ImageShack.us And here is a reference pic: http://images.wikia.com/clonepediathestarwarstheclonewars/images/c/ca/250px-RiotCloneTrooper-TCWCE-1-.jpg
  8. I make them, so that other people can use them. Thanks for the compliments. There will be more soon.:)
  9. Not the official CM musketeer decal but its close enough. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=54117&view=findpost&p=972232
  10. This is an amazingly good review, I really have to thank you for it. I was considering buying this set but the fact that it has only 3 figs for this price, got me a bit off. I payed a visit to my local shop and saw this set (they had only two of these and nothing else from POTC) and while I held it in my hands I remembered your review and bought it. What should I say besides... thank you. I just love it. And now I will go and costumize some more zombies for my crew, lucky for me I have alot of CMF series 1 zombies.
  11. Sorry for the bad quality of the pics they came out pretty dark, which I didnt wanted. So I saw the boxart for Waldurk Forest (here http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=4993053 , thanks to Grogall for the pics) and in the background is a werewolf and I thought, maybe I could make one that is minifig size. So I made this torso decal... Uploaded with ImageShack.us and with the little help from the collectible minifigure werewolf and some brown parts I made this... Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us Well thats it, I posted the decal if anybody wants to make one to. A better one than mine. But dont forget to give me credit;). Bye.
  12. Since we already have a musketeer as a collectible minifigure I thought, those guys need worthy opponents and who is better for an opponent than the guards of cardinal Richelieuof known from the books and movies. So I made a torso similar to the musketeer only with a cross a different belt and in red. Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  13. You mean something like this? Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  14. Ahoi, here is the torso... Uploaded with ImageShack.us ... and the head/face... Uploaded with ImageShack.us ... hope they are usable.
  15. Sure thing, if its allowed. Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  16. Here is a very muscular pirate torso with big tatoo and belts, for all the pirate-lovers out there. Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  17. How about the Gray Ghost http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gray_Ghost_(DC_animated_universe), not really a chalange for you I asume, but still a very nice charakter. The hero of the hero. There are also various owlmen (the Qwardian owlman or Roy Raymond Jr. from the outsiders, which is my favorite, because he is not evil) to chose from.
  18. Thank you for the compliment. Considering the leg decal, its more or less a no go, since I allways mess up the sizes for the legs, so I quit doing them (dont realy like them either to be honest), but here is a face (with open mouth, since you said you worked on a berserker and those are usualy angrier than the normal orcs/trolls) and a reworked torso for your troops, as a compensation.:) Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  19. As a big fan of the Trolls/Orcs myself, I am gladly to oblige to your request. Hope its any good. Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  20. Not that he is bad the way he is, but short legs would probably make him even more awesome. But that is not for me to decide.
  21. Hello, I am a fairly new member here and I really like to customize my minifigs. Usualy I do this by aplying decals to them. Here are some decals that I made: 1. Two face decals of the golems from the Heroica game, the golem and the "golem king" or "golem lord" (not sure if these are the official names) made them with the help of screenshots, that I spoted here http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=46458&view=findpost&p=953581 Uploaded with ImageShack.us. 2. One torso decal for the golem. If anybody wants to use them be my guest just dont forget, to mention where you got them from. I am not sure, what size (and resolution) is right for the faces, since I usualy do only the torsos. Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us
