Old Republic Battle Pack : finally, I hoped they made one when I saw the TOR sets from this year and now they did. Yaaaay! Clone Troopers vs Droidekas Battle Pack: Since I dont have any droidekas, I am verry happy to finaly get one, and there can never be enough clones for me. A-Wing: If it is an UCS than its a no-go, but if its a normal set, than its theoreticaly mine;). AT-RT: This one, I will skip. Z-95 Headhunter: I like this ship, so its okay for me. Rancor Pit: Just awesome, thats all. Planet set Kamino: I thinks a clone-pilot would be the better choice for the figure, but a new astro-droid is okay. Planet set Coruscant: Why, why, why? Wouldnt the senate guards be a much better choice, I really hoped that it would happen, but now... oh well, at least I get a clone-pilot here, since I dont have any, so the dissapointment isnt that big. Planet set Asteroid: My bet is that it will be a black sphere with asteroids and stars painted on it, if it will be an actual, new, asteroid mold (I doubt it highly) then I would be fairly surprised. The minifig is so-so, its okay but a imperial officer would be much better.

Here is Antmans face. Its a bit large, but one can still resize it. Uploaded with ImageShack.us And here are Zemos face and torso. I asume, you dont need the enchantress anymore. Right?
-
Ill make the face for Antman (prety tricky, but I can do it) and torsos and the faces for Zemo and the Enchantress. Coming up tomorow.
-
Your welcome. Nope, I use regular windows paint. I make the decals really big and than I resize them when they are finished, so that they look proper.
-
Here are two sets I made, the first is Captain-Iron, based on my avatar. And the second one are decals of the Iron-Man Toyfair promo/gift. I used the decals size of ED-209 as a template, I hope he doesnt mind.
-
Here you go Hope they are good. Cheers.

Thats a shame, I bet if Marvel did it, it would be waaaaaaaaaaay better. But, oh well. Lets wait and see.

Oooh, I just love your designs, really, great work there mate. I will make good use of your Iron-Patriot decal, prefering the first version. Just keep them coming, there can never be enough Iron-Men for the world.:) A sugestion, maybe you could do one thats similar to my avatar. I have taken it from the boxart of the Lego Iron-Man actionfigure, where you can combine him with Captain America. Not sure how many people are familiar with it. Like I said, just a sugestion.

What about the Fantastic four, the last movie of them was 5 years ago, does that mean, that the license is expiring and they go back to Marvel/Disney?

Yesterday I purcased the 9678 Twin-pod Cloud Car, Bespin (love that Lobot) and the 9679 AT- ST, Endor, from the second planet series, they are just great, have to get more endors for the imperial AT- ST-s and their drivers.

You cant even imagine how much I envy you right now. Nah, but seriously, thanks for the great review, it just confirms, that this set is a "must have" for me. Cant wait till it hits the stores in my country.
-
Wow that is realy a great set and an excelent review, gotta get one of those puppies in my hands. But there is an off-topic question that I have. Since I saw the movie on friday, I cant remember anyone in the movie saying that this is the quinjet (maybe I just missed it). I know a lot of sites (official and unofficial) and toys state it as the quinjet, but for me it looks more like a S.H.I.E.L.D. jet, since the original should be constructed by Tony Stark. Could someone, please, clearify this for me.

He does at the begining of the SWTOR trailer "Return", but after that he goes around without it. Its a shame really, since we allready get the sith-troopers. But maybe we will get a battle-pack of the game some time in the future (wishfull thinking).

New York Toy Fair Coverage Part Nine: The Lord of the Rings
Daimar replied to Aanchir's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I dont care how much the Shelob set will cost, I just have to get it. Oh june, where are you? -
Maybe its because the US are more familiar with the charakters from the comics than we are in Europe (especialy my country:(). But its still strange because we got the POTC sets almost the same week as the other european countries got them, so why doesnt this go for the DC sets, is it because it was such a popular movie?
-
Thats exactly what happened to me today, I was looking at some of the sets in my local store and than I spoted it and it was the last box of this set that they had, suddenly it was in my basket and a few hours later, it swooshed through my room;). I am not sorry for buying it but its surprisingly heavy, still a verry good buy, with great minifigs and an even greater fighter.
-
They could make him the like they made the flashlight minifig http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2775/4329421476_81b4d6f6c1_z.jpg , just remove the lights, the battery make him holes for the studs on the feet and voila.

TUTORIAL: Remove print from decorated elements
Daimar replied to Hinckley's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
I just wanted to say that I tried to remove the printings with an eraser (any kind of eraser works) and the endresult is great, no scratched plastic and no printing, its pretty time consuming but it works, the safest and easiest method ever. -
I for myself would like to see an old republic battlepack. Maybe with 2 republic and 2 sith troopers from the online game. Or two battlepacks with 4 troopers each and maybe a little canon or brickbuild battledroid. They are releasing two old republic sets, so that could be a posibility.
-
These sound amazing, they remind me of the 6105 medieval knights battlepack, I wish they would really happen.
-
Hm, looks like I will be skiping on the first wave (except for the CW battle pack) and wait for the second, the gungan sub (Padme yaay) the Lobot and the desert skif are a, must have, for me.
-
Awww, those are just awesome. I really like them and I agree on the minifig-hand-print, it looks way better on legos than the five-finger hand.

My apologies for using that word, I didnt mean I wouldnt be happy if there was a LOTR line, but fact is, that it would probably be more expensive (which is a big minus since I am unemployed) and it would have fleshies (no offense to all the fleshie-lovers, its just my opinion). But since I was to late to buy any fantasy sets (except for 7041) I would love to see them get continued. But secretly I am still cheering for Heroica sets since there still isnt any official confirmation about LOTR Lego.
