  1. Oh wow.. I really want a doughnut now!
  2. Family Guy - April in Quahog (season 8 episode 16) Peter asks stewie how's legoland going. Peter - So, Stewie, how's everything goin' in Lego Land? Stewie - Oh, pretty good. I made a spaceship... Wait a minute, I'm not talkin' to you.
  3. Nope, but thats a great idea haha , maybe that could be a halloween building
  4. Yes, Hopefully any sets that havn't been included (Except the giant merry-go-round, Thats abit to big to put in) I do have the harobur actually but its only half built so I need to finish that off soon aswell.
  5. Thanks you for kind replies I might actualy attempt to build this with real bricks if I get the time (Hopefully before christmas ) or If not probally somtime next year! Oh if anyone wants to know the only building from last year that is still built is the train station, sadly all the others got destoryed. P.S the next building is going to be pretty sweet - any guesses on what it might be
  6. So..... I havn't been on Eurobricks in a while and I guess its time I payed this topic a visit and gave you alittle info on whats happening with my city. Well, the city has remained untouched for 2 months atleast. So in the next couple of days I will be in there cleaning and re-modeling it as its in need of a new layout to make way for the new 2012 sets. (which I havn't really had a good look at yet) I didn't get chance to get some boards made for the undearneath of the table So hopefully that will be done before christmas. If I do have the underneath board fitted the farm will be moved below so I can have a main town on the top, and also extend the beach/harbour as currently its quite overcrowed down that end. Oh and spacing out the modular buildings is another thing needed to be done. if you have any suggestions on what I should do, feel free to tell
  7. I'm liking the design! Very small and compact Looking forward to seeing the finished product looks like!
  8. I'm liking the colour scheme Looking forward to seeing it progress !
  9. Thank you for your comments everyone I'm glad you like it. I might actually try to build this, if I do have enough bricks
  10. Happy birthday Have a fantastic day!
  11. So, I haven't been active on eurobricks for at least 2 or 3 months, and I must say I've really missed this place . Last year you might remember I posted a lot of winter building MOC's. Well this year I've got a few more to post, some will be made on LDD and some in real bricks! (Its also been along time since I've even touched a lego brick ) Okay, the first building is a cottage. Whats a village without a cottage for somebody to live. The cottage has 3 floors. the first floor is where the kitchen, lounge area and fireplace are located. The second floor includes a bed and the 3rd floor has a desk. There was one thing I didn't think about is putting some stairs up to the 3rd floor. (lets just pretend its an Attic and there's some imaginary pull down ladders ) I was going to add a few more pieces to the 2nd floor but it became over crowed and ruined the look slightly. Outside you can see theres an area under the house where logs can be stored! I've seen that on so many houses in the winter so I decided to incorporate it into this MOC A closer look at the stairs Thats all for now another coming soon! C & C welcome!
  12. Really nice buildings you've made there Lorax! You've added some really nice details in there. Oh and I like how you made the corner roof Great Idea.
  13. Nice water tower! and hut to go along with it. I must build one myself sometime! Great work LT12V
  14. Hmmm... these sets sound interesting. Police sets don't interest me one bit after we've only just had one wave of them this year , however I am interested in the fire sub-theme. It will be nice to see them set in a different location. I hope we will get a hospital sub-theme in the second half of the year. I've put off for awhile building one of my own in hope that Lego do release one soon, So I guess we will just have to wait!
  15. Its been awhile since I last posted so time for some news on whats happening Finally arrived back of my holiday and I manged to get this years promotional plane set. I've just finished combining that with the 4642 fishing boat and it looks great. Plan to make a topic for that later in the week. been continuing building the Starbucks which is comming along fine. Im making it look like an old building that has been restored. (I will be using to column pieces that came with the Atlantis set ) Oh pictures will be comming soon! Im also planning on making a second building...an apple store . Im still deciding whether to make that a modular building (What do you think).
  16. Thanks Lightningtiger. For the Starbucks I was thinking of remaking the store so that it has an interior and roof top seating area or just keeping the store what I have now but just change the colours. I'll probably give the coffee shop a complete makeover, I'm pretty confident that it will make the beach look better overall So now Im off to design it on LDD and I'll post it here so you guys can make suggestions.
  17. Oh I almost forgot to mention. I have printed off some stickers and I will be changing the small coffee shop into a Starbucks. So I am gonna try and make a start on that soon Oh I have had to order some more baseplates, because the sun has warped them into new shapes. I have this problem every year as the city is right under a window and during the summer the sun will focus on the city for at least a couple of hours everyday. I would usually put a blanket over the city when I'm not in the room but I forgot to do that so after one week of sun it has completely ruined them
  18. Soon... I've still got to do something to it. (I think I might have worded it wrong )
  19. Sooo.... I haven't been very active over the past couple of weeks as I have been very busy with collage work. And I thought I should give you guys a bit of an small update on the city. I have finally gotten the harbour and that's now in the city and is ready to be shown to you guys, I must say it looks okay but not perfect. I will be modifying it in 2 weeks as on Tuesday I will be off on holiday to Lanzarote (which there happens to be a store which sells old Lego so with a bit of luck there might be some classic town sets.) hopefully I can pick up the City 2011 promotional plane set. With the red cargo train hitting some shops around the world it's not long till it arrives in the united kingdom, when that becomes available it will be adding it to the city. it won't haven permanent spot in the city but it will be shown occasionally. the tan coal loader thingy which is included in the set will go around the harbour area. That would probably the most suitable area for it. that's all I really have to say at the moment and if I think of anything else you need to know I will post it. Oh and feel free to ask any questions
  20. Very nice. I must say the nail polish looks better than the actual paint lego used on the elf head piece.
  21. Well I'm not quite sure what's next besides trying to complete the beach area by adding the Hillside house and the harbour. I've been told that I cannot have a underneath part to my city as my I might hurt my back with me leaning over and crouching down to reach it. So I could have the doorway expanded to allow a joining table (In the next room) so my city could be even bigger But I'm not sure that will work as I'd like to keep that other room empty. So I'm gonna try and have the underneath part instead...
  22. Thank you for your comments Lightningtiger and Gregorovich Thank you Legocrazy81, I forgot to put the wind surfer in while I was taking the photos so you will defiantly see him next time . I didn't buy the Hillside house as it didn't have enough money and I could only manage to get those sets, but The next orderthe make will include the harbour and the Hillside house
  23. Thank you iDave, I've enjoyed seeing it grow into a great city and I've just been looking at some photos which shows my first city I ever built. I must say it doesn't look as good as this one . I will be posting a picture of the lighthouse lit up in the dark. it really looks very nice.
  24. Layout Okay here's the moment you've been waiting for.... The sets have finally arrived . I spent yesterday afternoon building them all and it took me at least 5 hours to build them all. - As you can see there have been some changes to the beach and I'll go into more detail later. you can also see the pet shop sandwiched between the CC and the GG The back of the building looks great and the train track also looks alot better Now onto the beach - I've made alot of changes to it but there is a good reason why, When marina was in it's origonal planned place it just didn't look right. The lighthouse and the Marina are very different in size and it didn't look right when they were placed together. Thats why I have moved the marina to the other side (you might notice aswell that I have mirrored it to make it fit in. That's all for now so if you have any questions about these changes don't hesitate to ask
  25. Happy birthday Dlunders Have a great day!
