The Evolution of Star Wars Minifigs
Fighter of Frizzies replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I'm not sure that Han Solo comparison really sells your argument. -
LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors
Fighter of Frizzies replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
At least we can appreciate Lego's commitment to flick-fire missile all the things! -
Mine was the 7128 Speeder Bikes for my 9th birthday. It is odd how I soon grew apart from the friend that gave it to me (as these things happen), but all these years later I'm still collecting SW Legos. Though I recently got rid of it so I could 'restart' my collection. Sad to see it go but it was discolored and the pieces were brittle. Future Me will be a bit better in taking care of his sets.

LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors

I don't see why any BP can't be about having any minifigures that are meant to be bought in multiples. I probably would have preferred a separate Rebel and Imperial BP, given the choice, but getting cheap army builders in any capacity is alright by me. -
Jabba's Steampunk Barge in Brickjournal #16
Fighter of Frizzies replied to ACPin's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Whoa. I hadn't seen this before and I absolutely love it. Just out of curiosity, is this intended to be someone from the movie? Apologies that I don't recognize it: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/ACPin/ACPin-Public-Display/z-jabbasteampunkbarge_b11_064.jpg -
If these catch on, could Lego ever reuse planets? I could see them re-releasing Tatooine a few times with different vehicles.

Holy.......! I have hardly enough space to articulate how awesome this series looks. Lego, just shut up and take my money now. -

Exact scale down to the last centimeter isn't necessary, but a 4 inch Rancor wouldn't even be in the same ballpark. After all, how would it eat? -
LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors

Though just for the sake of consistency, I kinda wish they did leg printing on the BP Stormtrooper like they did for the Sandtroopers. Minor yes, but I figured I'd mention that. -
LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors
Fighter of Frizzies replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I think that Lobot just convinced be to start collecting the planet sets. I'm still hoping to see better quality pictures of the '012 sets before I pass any judgment, but I don't see any reason to complain. The rumored OT sets sound great, and well, I guess that's all I can at this point. While I loved how 6210 contained nearly the entire Carkoon battle in one box, having the skiff in a separate set makes me hope the next incarnation of the Sail Barge will be able a larger-sized model (so similar price point, but the sets entire budget would go to the Barge. I think I explained that right ) -

Having missed the first batch, I'm glad for rehashes. I'll have to wait for better pics to pass judgment though. -
Love it! And such a perfect meld of brick and Technic. I would absolutely kill for a whole lineup of these.

What's your recent LEGO Star Wars Purchase?
Fighter of Frizzies replied to KimT's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Only an Ewok Attack. Still waiting for some steep discounts on Hoth and the Falcon for the holiday season. -
Been on and off lurking for a looooooong time. But I have decided to come into the Eurobricks community. I've loved Lego for nearly 15 years though space and money have changed the shape and content of my collection many times over the years. Mostly a Star Wars fan, though I have been trying to branch out with some of the sci-fi and adventure themes whenever I can. And the blind-bag minifigures are addicting. I can't stress that enough!

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 6 Discussion

Are the catalog pictures the same as preliminary ones that we just saw? I just didn't know if they offered any new changes (for example, giving the PJ kid small legs). -
Cecilie's Collectable Minifigures vignettes - series 5

Love these. Is the dark grey building in the Godzilla vignette based off of anything specific? EDIT: Or is it smoke? Whoops. Still awesome though! -

Gotta say the AT-AT. Just really impressive, despite the lack of mini-figs. I just wish the eviBay scalpers would cut me some slack for another one, ya know? Also, when I first got the original Millennium Falcon, it really knocked my socks off in a way that no other Lego set could, even if the new one is a lot better.
