LEGO Star Wars 2013 Pictures and Rumors
Fighter of Frizzies replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
for more planet sets. Though as an OT fan, I feel like they have just about exhausted their options (I'd rather have the models though, so hopefully we still get more minis after this). -
LEGO Star Wars 2013 Pictures and Rumors

Would that be possible? I can't remember Lego doing any transparent mini figures before and if that is correct, is there a reason why? -
REVIEW: 8833 LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 8
Fighter of Frizzies replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I just saw that your pirate was your least favorite.... I may be the only board member who has never had a Lego pirate figure in my all my years of collecting. Never knew why I just never happened to pick up any pirate ships so I'm definitely in the minority! He looks nice though I do not know if I would have chosen such a bright red for pirate garb. It reminds me of a joke told in House of Leaves about a sea captain and his red shirt. -
REVIEW: 8833 LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 8
Fighter of Frizzies replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Love your reviews, and I think you made this series even more appealing in my eyes. Out of curiosity, is there any particular reason why the robot figures have one robot arm and one minifigure arm as opposed to two robot arms? I didn't know if it was construction related or more arbitrary. -
Review: 9678 Twin-pod Cloud Car & Bespin
Fighter of Frizzies replied to Lobot's topic in LEGO Star Wars
But Lobot is always stern! Nice review for a lovely little set. I am hoping for a minifigure scale one as well. Even if the CC isn't the most dynamic of vehicles, it provides a nice splash of color amongst all the OT ships. -
After some thought, I wonder if I should be more inclined to believe this list only because it sounds more like someone trying to interpret a bunch of unnamed figures with vague descriptions, i.e. if it were more specific (someone making a list off of a bunch of wishlists) it may look more like a hoax. Plus it has a sports figure. But! I'll be glad for some pictures to prove this wrong.

Feh, I'd rather get another shot at Ackbar than a deleted character but it seems it could be the latter. -

Maybe just not enough new stuff, lots of smallish sets, etc. I would wait until the summer '013 wave to raise my expectations, usually a lot more "flagship" type sets. -

What would be really cool is if there were four studs at an odd angle with a few pieces to attach a build-able space slug. -

An asteroid? I really wish Lego would just do the minis and not the planets but whatev. I wonder if Han will be the brown pants version we've seen before or have an Endor trenchcoat (perhaps using this piece for the coat: http://www.eurobricks.com/staff/whitefang/8805review/33.jpg -

I can understand why most wouldn't be excited for another A-Wing. Though since I missed out on the Mon Calamari Cruiser set, I'm really jazzed that Lego is offering it separately (though I wouldn't be surprised if the construction is the same [minus the color]). Does the A-Wing come with any other figures besides the pilot? -
Lego Star Wars 4501 - Mos Eisley Cantina Review
Fighter of Frizzies replied to BrickShady's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I also remember being terribly unimpressed with this set upon its initial release. Now that I understand the price-by-weight as opposed to the price-by-piece standard that Lego seems to use (e.g. the Dino sets), I think I've come around. Good selection of minifigs, a very good redeux of the speeder and a Dewback. I would give this an above average score, particularly in comparison to say the 03 Jabba sets. The actual Cantina is a bit paltry, but as a tiny diorama for Han and Greedo, it does its job. For $30, I doubt many would have been clamoring for a bigger cantina then unless it came stocked with more patrons (which would have meant more $$$). Still hoping for a re-do. Its a shame that the exclusivity of Greedo and the Dewback still let this set command such a high price! Also, I can't look at the old Stormy minifigs and not think he is wearing a mustache. -
Collectible Minifigures Trading Suggestion
Fighter of Frizzies replied to Donut's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Hope it is fine to re-submit my list now that I am on the make for some Series 8 minifigs. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=52683&view=findpost&p=1088321 -
I know a lot of people are looking for a room to put under the Jabba's Palace tower. A droid torture room would probably be the best bet if any, but if they did one, it would probably be some sort of generic dungeon, right? I can't imagine Lego would ever do a set with "torturing" play features. If they ever did this, I could see it being a cheap set to include a Jawa and/or Gamorrean for army-building, no?

Brick separator useless? Are you are you're using it correctly? Very nice review! I just saw this set at my local Target, oddly the only LotR set too. Still waiting for their shipment to stave off TRU tax.... -

The pit meets my expectations. I wasn't expecting a pit to be anything more than functional for housing the beast. It's not a very pretty set or an interesting design, but worth it to get that Rancor. I see Lego has the Gamorrean trying to trick the Rancor into eating the chicken wing instead of him. Cute!
