Yeah, we might try shooting the marquis for XP or something.

Correct me if I'm wrong, Emjajoas, but it seems as though Quest 109 will be finishing up soon, so that would provide two potential low-Level players for Quest 111, KhoRne.

OoC: Free Hits have the same base Damage as a Damage roll, so just the enemy's Level. (unless there's a passive special that substitutes some other method of Free Hit) Let's see, the Dream Rogue's Free Hit will be: (58/2-23)/2=3 Damage, then I'll Counterstrike for 45*2/2=45 Damage, and the return Counterstrike should be 29/2-23=0 Damage. So that should be fine. "Master Vandagant, you already took a Nostrum last Round, and Elite Dream Archer A is already defeated. You should instead attack Elite Dream Knight A, and then use a conditional action to attack Elite Dream Knight B with your second action if Elite Dream Knight B is defeated. "Master Barkley, this means that you need to add a condition to your action stating that if Elite Dream Knight B is already defeated, you'll do nothing — we don't want your target to default to a Lancer and get you Doomed. "Lady Annienal, you will need to attempt an attack, probably against Elite Dream Knight A from the Back Row. It won't actually happen, but you need to do that in order to make sure the Voice In The Sky remembers to removed the Stunned effect. "I'll go on healing duty for this Round. I could attack an Elite Dream Knight, but I'm not Lucky, we have the situation under control now, and I don't want to risk getting my SP nullified right before I take a planned Free Hit from the Elite Dream Rogue." OoC: So then the revised actions would be: >Bartholomew Docken uses a Potion/Phoenix Essence or does nothing >Bartholomew Docken uses a Potion/Phoenix Essence or does nothing >Annienal Anavir vs. Elite Dream Knight A (no longer Stunned) >Alexander Vandagant vs. Elite Dream Knight A >Alexander Vandagant vs. Elite Dream Knight A or Elite Dream Knight B Knickers vs. Elite Dream Lancer A Knickers vs. Elite Dream Lancer B >Francis Barkley vs. Elite Dream Knight B or does nothing Free Hits: Elite Dream Rogue vs. Bartholomew Docken Bartholomew Docken Counterstrikes Elite Dream Rogue Elite Dream Rogue Counterstrikes Bartholomew Docken With both my actions, if anyone is Knocked Out, I will use a Phoenix Essence on him; else if anyone has lost 10 or more Health, I will use a Potion on him; else I will do nothing, all from the Back Row. Knickers attacks Elite Dream Lancer A with its Cat's Claws from the Front Row, then attacks Elite Dream Lancer B with its Cat's Claws from the Front Row.

I think they probably have the same source for set numbers and names that we do (JediNews).

I'm on mobile right now so I can't check for sure; there's nothing there that we don't already have in the first post of this topic, right?

'the original Star Wars & Lego connection'
Brickdoctor replied to Jedi-Bendu's topic in LEGO Star Wars
That site still exists! It was one of my favorites back when I first started following LEGO fan sites. Thanks for the link; I need to go read the whole thing over again. -
I'm sorry, but I don't really see how this needs its own topic. It's just a short comment based on your own speculation. If you have a specific set idea or prediction to go along with it, then it might belong in Future Star Wars Sets, and if you're reacting to a specific rumored set, then it would belong in 2015 Pictures and Rumors, and if you have pictures of an existing army of yours, then it would belong in Show Your Army.

Usually when building MOCs, the exact precise numbers don't matter as much because of how distorted minifig proportions are and because of compromises that have to be made when working with LEGO bricks, so if an MOC requires properly scaled reference material, most builders round it off to six feet or two meters as a minifig's height just because it's easier.

Yeah, it saddens me that I haven't been able to read every quest the way I used to. Not that it was unexpected, because I knew that that was what would happen once I started university last year, but there are so many storylines and characters and good loot that I'm unaware of... (not to mention all the useful out-of-character knowledge for Docken)

It's been great. Battles have been very well set up, similar to the "short but dangerous" style that I've advocated (Even if still, MegaBlok these Passive Specials. ), you've had some puzzles, you've had some mystery, you've integrated some of our skills outside of battle, and it's moved at a very enjoyable pace.

"All right, there're eight enemies, and we can act eight times... we can take a Free Hit. I think that the Free Hit should be left to one of the Elite Dream Archers, because Counterstriking should finish him quickly. "Master Vandagant, you should consume a Nostrum, then try to one-shot Elite Dream Archer A. "Knickers will be Lucky and Hastened, so it can take on the two Elite Dream Lancers, since they have the chance of dealing Doomed. "Master Barkley and Lady Annienal, I think you're safest attacking the Elite Dream Knights." I throw a Bone at the Elite Dream Rogue, then I attack Elite Dream Archer B from the Back Row with my Darksteel Crossbow. OoC: Long story short: >Bartholomew Docken uses a Bone against Elite Dream Rogue >Bartholomew Docken vs. Elite Dream Archer B Annienal Anavir vs. Elite Dream Knight A >Alexander Vandagant uses a Nostrum >Alexander Vandagant vs. Elite Dream Archer A Knickers vs. Elite Dream Lancer A Knickers vs. Elite Dream Lancer B >Francis Barkley vs. Elite Dream Knight B Elite Dream Archer C gets a Free Hit against Bartholomew Docken Bartholomew Docken Counterstrikes Elite Dream Archer C Knickers attacks Elite Dream Lancer A with its Cat's Claws from the Front Row, then attacks Elite Dream Lancer B with its Cat's Claws from the Front Row.

OoC: Yes, let's definitely have Knickers consume a Catnip.
-
It's done just about every time for the Unlimited Quest, and I'm all but certain that Zeph's done it at least once as well.
-
I haven't been following other quests and I didn't even realize you'd used him. It's fine with me; he's in the right city already anyways, and there are close to three weeks before he needs to show up in my quest.
-
I consume a Smelling Salts, then a Mead.

Using Diplomacy. "I see. Thank you, that's quite interesting. "Now then, we still require entrance to the castle, and as you have acknowledged, we're more than capable of doing so by force if necessary. So, if you and your men will allow us to pass, we will be on our way."

There isn't a proper 'Fall Wave' like there is a Winter Wave and a Summer Wave. If there's a D2C set released in the fall time period, it's usually unveiled at a convention.
-
Using Diplomacy. "I understand; you're just following your orders. Did your instructions come from the Dreamer himself, or from the one I'm told is called the Witch? "I am curious; do you know your origins? Were you and your kin given life by the Dreamer or by the Witch, or have you simply always existed here?"
-
Using Diplomacy. "No, we do not belong, and that is exactly why we should be allowed to speak with the Dreamer. I'm told that you are not from the outside world; how are you qualified to determine whether or not the Dreamer should remain here instead of returning there, or whether or not he will be happiest in his sleep here? "But I'm a reasonable man, so tell me: how have we brought Winter, what exactly is Winter, and what are these consequences you speak of?"

Whether or not you agree with the position taken by the video and whether or not you consider the information presented in the video to be factual is irrelevant. EB is a LEGO forum; the discussion should concern the use of LEGO, not your opinion regarding the stance that the LEGO was used to promote. I know that the video is about issues beyond LEGO, but that doesn't mean the discussion has to be. In this case, talos noticed that this video was illustrated using LEGO, so he posted a link thinking that other members might be interested in watching it because of the use of LEGO. (I would understand it if you think he's posting this topic to promote his own views, but I don't think he's anywhere close to blatantly doing so, so I would give him the benefit of the doubt.) I realize that there really isn't much notable use of LEGO in this video, as far as things like building techniques, but if you don't have anything to comment on as far as just the LEGO element is concerned, then you could simply not post a reply at all, and the topic will fade away behind other topics...
-
It's about LEGO until someone decides to comment on the political issues presented in the video. It doesn't matter what facts or lies are or aren't promoted or presented by the video, because EB, as a LEGO forum, is not the place to discuss that. If members want to discuss the use of LEGO to illustrate the video, I see no problem with that. It only becomes a problem if this turns into a debate regarding politics (and maybe that's what's most likely to happen, but let's give the other members a chance), in which case we will consider locking this topic. But if the discussion can be kept to the use of LEGO, I don't see a problem.

Forum skins -- Comments and Issues
Brickdoctor replied to Hive's topic in Forum Information and Help
We used to, a couple years ago, but we don't anymore. If I remember correctly, it caused too many issues with the board software. -
"They can obviously see us by now, yet they do nothing." Cupping my hands around my mouth, I yell across the bridge to the Dream Soldiers, using Diplomacy. "Good day, soldiers of this Dream World! I am Bartholomew Docken; my companions and I have been sent here to speak with your leader, the young marquis known as the 'Dreamer.' With your permission, we would enter this castle, and no one has to get hurt."

You're awesome, Hulk_Smash. Thanks for answering all these questions. The retailers catalogs are provided to stores so they have an idea of what they'll be selling in the future. They're not intended to be seen by the public, so they don't have to be finalized sets. Things can change between the time the retailers catalog is printed and the time the set is released. This would probably be a good time to mention that these pictures are confidential, so please resist the temptation to ask your local toy store to see them, and if you do get a look, please also resist the temptation to take pictures and post them all over EB.

I've got to say, even if the size of the project might be a little overambitious, this is one of the most entertaining WIP topics I've read in a while. Your segments are so massive, you pay attention to detail, and you're moving at such a fast pace!
