  1. Looks awesome, love the landscape and giant trees! How do you get images on your posting? Thanks,
  2. Hello, Does anybody know what is a fare price for having a giant lego display at a public museum? The display is over 250 lbs., 55 inches tall, and needs a uhaul to transfer which is an hour away. They have a lego event every week which they promote by using these displays. I personally would do it for free but wouldn't mind breaking even or making a gain. A local public museum (Oshkosh, WI) is showing Nathan Sawaya's The Art of The Brick exhibit which started last weekend. They have offered some interest in displaying my most recent creation, The Hobbit-Rivendell in future events. They wanted to know what the fees were for my display? Anybody have some insight/ suggestions? LEGO IDEAS here https://ideas.lego.com/projects/91654 High Res Pics here https://www.flickr.com/photos/127491317@N08/ Thanks, Ben
  3. Agreed! You're right. I should add some floors. Somebody else mentioned that. Thanks for your support and feedback! Ben

  6. Hi Everyone, I recently posted my massive Rivendell Moc on the LEGO Ideas page after downsizing it. I have updated the project with 7 different buildings from the display totaling 2800 pieces. I'm hoping that maybe one, two, or several of the builds gets approval since 2800 is still a lot of pieces. This project consists of: -Feasting Hall & Watch Tower- approx. 701 pieces -Library- approx. 784 pieces -Elrond's Study- approx. 272 pieces -White Council- approx. 44 pieces -Bridge Building- approx. 200 pieces -Gazebo- approx. 36 pieces -Entrance Tower- approx. 299 pieces -Platform- approx. 196 pieces -Bridge- approx. 63 pieces -Moon Rune- approx. 89 pieces -Tree- approx. 47 pieces -Entire Set with minifigs and accessories- approx. 2800 pieces Rivendell is such an iconic scene that deserves more than the 243 piece set we got 2 years ago. Any feedback is appreciated and thanks for supporting. The Lego Ideas page here https://ideas.lego.com/projects/91654 More high res pics of Rivendell here https://www.flickr.c.../127491317@N08/
  7. We only got one LOTR Rivendell set and its under 250 pieces. Never made one for the hobbit either. For such an iconic place it deserves more! Please check out my Rivendell idea that's currently gathering support https://ideas.lego.com/projects/91654 Any feedback is appreciated, thanks for supporting!
  8. Last November I posted a 120,000 piece Rivendell. I'd like to downsize this to make an official LEGO set under 5,000 pieces. In near future I plan to update with more realistic pics of the project. Please support if liked at link. Any feedback appreciated. Thanks,

  10. It's comes apart in 6 sections. I have not moved it yet, but plan to take it to the children's museum in the small city where I live. Not many places to display this. Unfortunately, I will have to tear it down to recycle the parts for future builds after I display it.
  11. Hey, Thanks for the positive feedback. It did take me around 11 months to build. I have some info on Rivendell at this page http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/400082 Not sure what EB is or how to post pics there... Ben
