Well that's nice, but this is a kids toy and Lego didn't like the idea if you play with it too much they break. If it's a problem there are still old ones for sale that you can buy.

Yes with the older hinge those little "teeth" would break over time, it's happened to me. With the new ones that doesn't happen, but they don't look are sharp. With these I don't mind them too much, they have grown on me.

WOW! The inside is awesome! I thought Lego would just stick the guy in with a computer and a wrench / joystick thing. very nice. *Adds to list for when Lego Store has double stamps again.*

Yeah the interior is nice, but I would have liked more blending with the prototype. The covered walkway is a great idea because what's the point of a normal walkway underwater? Plus the prototype also had a roof too the base, my main complaint with the set. I like the mini sub that goes down the covered ramp thing, never noticed it, very nice. He bought the big sub, I can't wait to see the inside.

I was shocked that they haven't done an Atlantis Adventure theme. They made a sharkhead and a mermaid for a Harry Potter set so why not use those parts in a theme? I think those would sell better than Lego thinks. It's the one theme I really want, besides expanded City themes aka, Housing, Zoo, Seaport, ect.

I agree, I have always loved the set, but anything over $50 for is too much for a Train Station.

Didn't the originally set cost about $75 10 years ago? I think the price isn't too bad.

Yeah for some reason the shipwreck is also not on the back of the box either. That leads me to believe it will be an exclusive later in the year. That's just a guess through.

WOW!!! Who would have thought!?! Oh wait.... I even made a picture to prove they are wrong. The little sub on the LEFT is on the Theme page, that's the real sub and isn't in any other set. The sub on the right (Me smert!!!:D) is very wrong, kind of ugly. I saved the pictures, you might want to too.

It's ok, just when the facts are in peoples faces and they can't see the truth it drives me crazy. The symbols are different, and they don't even match with the other sets. It's a "trident" symbol and the other ones are more rebel. The pieces are odd. The piece counts doesn't match. And I'm in the USA, and I'm on the USA site so they should match. Everything points to a mix up in pictures. And how does that saying go... "The easiest outcome is normally the correct one". What's easier... 1. Lego messed up the pictures which isn't the first time. 2. Lego desides to change the sets even after releasing some of the "prototypes". 3. They are exclusives with the same number as another set?

Yes they are S@H exclusives with the same name and numbers as the versions I have. And yes I do know more because I have seen the real sets, I own the sets. The 3 sets that are the wrong pictures don't have any details and the wrong sticker symbols. And they newly redesigned them in a week after they already boxxed up hundreds of the sets and shipped them to at least one Lego Store. I guess I also have more common sense than you guys too.

I'm not getting defensive. What is there to get defensive about? But many here seem to think that they know these are the real things and seem to now it all. I have the sets so I know more than them on this topic. If you buy them just realize that these aren't the real sets.

Ok people... I OWN the sets. Do any of you own them? I have seen the sets in the offical Lego Store. Have you seen them? Have you held the boxes? The sets are prototypes, they have messed up the pictures and the text before in set profiles. It's not that big of a deal, just realize the base is different and the two small sets look like what I have.

Well they messed up the pictures, no biggy. I do like how they have the wrong sub for the "Big Blue Fish" set in the set page, but on the Theme page they have the correct sub from that set. Boy do I hate the new S@H. :-)

Hobbes the base is different too. The real set has a better looking sub for the base and it lands on the base too. The two sets I bought and the base are wrong, the others look about right. My versions are right, mine are the final versions, these must be the prototypes. The prototypes are icky. :)

Great news, everyone should buy them. But this is in the wrong place. ;) I just looked at them... what the hell are those pictures?! Those are NOT the right picture! I own the set I should now, that fish is green and not the big blue fish.

Don't be a smart big behind Mike. :-P Some sets don't have any special peices or anything. This set has several nice pieces, and a food minifig for a cheap price. Set 7771, while good, is mainly only good because of the big blue fish, not because of the special parts (Only the coins.) or the minifigures. What I'm saying is if you want special pieces you are better off just buying the little sub set. You get more special pieces and and two minifigures.

Well I might not go back for awhile anyways. :) And it takes so long to mail things to Europe. It took a postcard more than a month to get here.

For once things hit the East Coast first! :-P They should be out in some TRUs and Lego S@H by Christmas, the last few years they have been. If you really want them for a "small" (hehe) fee I can get some and ship them out. :-P

I hope the call the theme Space Raiders. :) I liked the LoM aliens, they are kind of like the Exo-Force ones. The colors for the sets were really odd.
