Yeah, they do sound the same, plus the posts are similar. For example, they posted in this thread and suggested South Park and Total Drama. I thought the mods could find a way to see if someone made multiple accounts? Sorry for just coming in here like this, but some people just sound like brats. And of course LEGO wont do licensed video game sets because: For like, every licensed theme, they made a video game and that would compete with the non lego video game. Back on topic. I would like to see a LEGO Monty Python and the Holy Grail Battle LA (though I think a little too violent to be a theme) Ranger's Apprentice (it's a book line and I could see some very top notch sets)

Hurray for the new regulator! I had the feeling he was up to the job. Congrats. Capt.JohnPaul

Wow, your dry docks are working over time, that gun curve is really nice! As Admiral Croissant said, the green looks very good, if perhaps inaccurate. (Though I think the Russians used green) Nice job KingoftheZempk.

So your pretty much saying to make certain parts taller?
-
Got it Taz, got confused on what you were meaning. Though I'm not sure how good I am at doing the "curve" fro stern to bow, tried doing curves in LDD, not so well. Yes, yard arms are a must. I like the length and height so I will probably keep it. Thanks. I've add up the price for some of the parts. (really just necessities or stuff to make it pretty ) : Hull pieces ≈ $24 Slope 2x2x2 pieces pg. 2≈ $4 Slope 2x1x2 pg. 2 ≈ $2.56 Flag-gun ports pg. 1 ≈ $0.80 Pg. 5 6x16 plates = $23.70 TOTAL: $55.06

Thank you Taz! For my reply: 1. Yes, looks like I'm going to need yardarms! (is it yadarms because I've also just heard yards. ) 2. If you look in the last pic, at the front of the ship, you can't see, but there is a ladder to have aces to the g-deck 3. I don't recall brigs having captain's cabins. But if so, it would be small and for this ship, under the top deck. 4. How does the line look flat? I used sloped pieces, a good alternative to CGH/CBH's technique. (stop changing names!! ) Capt.JohnPaul

Avast! I realized that my bluecoat friends need to hustle in working in the dry docks. So I made this plan first and wondering if I should build it physically. (f course I will!) If anything seems weird or off, please say! And if something is missing, say! But I'm most likely though already have the bricks and use them so I don't have to worry about buying every brick that I already have. Capt.JohnPaul

What a beauty! You have done an excellent job. The curve at the back is really cool and I like the stern. Do you mind if I steal borrow the design? Capt.JohnPaul

Welcome to EB! First, I'm not sure that this is in the right sub-forum, and that there has been multiple topics on this. Try to use the search feature first, but I'll tell you. 1. Upload pics to facebook, flickr, brickset or other hosting site 2. Click "view image" as many times as possible. It then should be the pic with all white around it. 3. In your post, click the "insert image" button and paste the URL of your image with the white background into the little text area. You're done and your pic should appear like this: I hope you understand what I just said above.

EDIT: prateek, yes, Canada has very good music. One of my favorite songs: Jacuzzi by Radio Radio:

The links say it all:

Oky's right. You could have justed copied the HyperText Markup Language. You can do this if the site was still up by going "ctrl u" or up on the top of your screen go "view - page source" Then just copy everything, and paste it into Notepad and save it as a .htm file or a .html file. The when you open the document, it should be the same thing or something like it. I have just did that with the LEGO S at H by theme page, it's not perfect, but then you may have to copy every single page it links to to get it right. Though you can't do that now now that the sites down. So next time you see a favorite theme, copy everything.

Same as me! I'm on constantly and watch only a few topics, and every second: refresh, refresh. Addicted to EB AND Refresh buttons!
-
Well, I'm not sure if this belongs here, but I use gimp 2.6 and make planets, I don't like my second one but I have more in this brickshelf link with rings and earth-like planets, the pic are too big for EB: brickshelf link

Best wishes to our friends in Japan and Brazil
Capt.JohnPaul replied to Artifex's topic in Community
Very sad, when I heard the news I immediately thought of 'def'. I sure hope everyone's okay. But I'm afraid the worst is yet to come, as I heard one of Japan's largest nuclear plants is having a catastrophic meltdown and the core reactor is over heating and there has been an explosion and radiation leak. Well he did put a spoiler on it. Back on topic... This is getting me excited. If series 4 minifigures, that means contest, and that means winners!, and winners mean prizes! -

REVIEW: 8804 LEGO Minifigures Series 4
Capt.JohnPaul replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Thanks for the great review Whitefang! I just love #13, the hazmat guy... (hmmm... 13 is also my favorite, lucky number ) -
Wow! A very nice ship! A love the way the sides look, like actual wood. Nice job on the technique with the lanterns, what a cool way of doing it! Wait, huh? A pretty debated argument below me? I kind of agree. Yes, I pretty much agree. I also agree, I see both side's argument. "You don't own LEGO techniques" vs. "Give creators credit" Now where does it say you have to give credit to some one with a way of building? You may have thought of it and took pictures first, but some may have never heard of it and think it's their own. I didn't know of maydayartist's technique and I have a similar way of making a "wooden plank" effect. But I also see if you made an ingenious way of making lanterns (come on guys, let's be mature "he stole my lantern building process!" ) you want your earned fame and credit. So please, privately PM the creator. If you are afraid of some cyber punk taking your idea, don't go on the internet at all, saves you on the electricity bill. BUT, if you do post, don't start a fiery debate and spam up a LEGO builder's thread because all that makes you look like is that YOU are cyber punk with a bad temper. Message: Post LEGO ships and techniques on the internet at your own risk!
