  1. I work as a teacher...the hell they give me at times, this is payback!!!
  2. Well, the nice man in one of the Asda stores was very understanding that my made up son couldn't make it as he was up in Scotland....so he gave me one of the minifigs....however, the not so nice lady at the other Asda store didn't buy my lie and said that they only had a few promos and were saving them for people who came in with their children. I turned on the charm...and unsurprisingly, that didn't work either ! But at least I managed to pick up one!
  3. According to Play, you can buy the Spider-Man: Doc Ock Truck Heist now!
  4. Got 2 large Asdas near me that are running the promo tomorrow so I shall try both....fingers crossed.
  5. Yeah, saw a picture released today that had him holding one of the infinity gems.
  6. Do you need a child to get your free DJ Robot?? Or do I need to "borrow" one for a few minutes?!!
  7. I probably said it once but I'll say it again....excellent!
  8. Off topic, PM me for a response.
  9. Without meaning to go off track, I dispute that. He didn't turn up in GotG until the second volume - granted, for a good 20 issues or so - but hasn't appeared much after that either.
  10. I'm not concerned by the height of Groot but the colours look all over the place for him...if you enlarge the picture, he looks like he has different colour arms to the rest of him.
  11. I don't know, I thought he looked about right to be honest.
  12. Better one... http://news.toyark.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2014/02/Toy-Fair-2014-LEGO-Marvel-015.jpg
  13. Yeah, true, those were some of his better works. Like you, I flick through them in no order - it's quite nice sometimes!! From what I can remember, I like the Cable/Magneto two parter too. Also What If The Avengers Fought The Kree War Without Rick Jones and What If Professor X Had Become The Juggernaut. I do like the House Of M storyline so the What If issues featuring that, I enjoyed. Also, What If The Alien Costume Had Taken Over Spider Man and What If The X-Men Had Lost Inferno. Probably more too but I can't remember them right now!!!
  14. Ah, I do love a good What If! Yeah, I enjoyed Claremont's run on Excalibur and X-Men. No, it helps forget I'm ill, although I've only got man flu and nothing as bad as going to hospital like you. Never read that, I find half of what Millar does to be pretty good whilst the other half is awful and I'm not a massive fan of Wolverine.....*waits for abuse*!!!
  15. Nice to see the Daily Mail is useful for something....got up off my deathbed - man flu is a killer - and picked one of these up from my local TRU.
  16. Definitely! Starlin, Perez and Lim nailed it with that. And yes, I'd agree with you too about the battle, I think it's my favourite as well. Regarding Infinity, I prefer to read the whole lot in one go - especially as it was 40+ comics AND leads into the new Inhumanity storyline - so I haven't read it yet.....but I did finish getting them all late last night so (as I'm ill) I'll get cracking on them a little later. Hickman wrote them so I suppose they should be pretty good but will it match "Gauntlet"....I doubt it! What else do you currently read?
  17. I absolutely love The Infinity Gauntlet...so many great pages. A v X was a let down as is pretty much every other "versus" title that's ever been released.
  18. Sounds like a great idea! Bring it back!
  19. Exactly what I was wondering.
  20. YES!! Now I'm uber UBER excited!
  21. I know who they were! But I wouldn't call them a major villain.
