  1. Do they have a 'sand green'? That would work well- except Phred might not have any! Yes! They do have 'sand green' like this one...
  2. nothing beats building to gain experience! Yes! I have begun to influence people! Sweet! But seriously, if you have any questions or would like to know about any of the building techniques on the Arbiter II let me know!
  3. Well maybe you should start a fund to buy some infinite bricks! Yeah, I am basically out of good looking white bricks now, except for 1 x 3, which pick-a-brick had at the Mall of America! Now I think I need to make some sort of small fortress like section on the side of the brig. I think that that whole rest of the harbor is getting lost in the mix here. We all need to remember that there are four more harbor sections out there that will be connected to this thing. Anyhow, Command and Conquer 3 comes out tomorrow in the US, so maybe the updates will slow a little for a few weeks! I will update when I get the bricks to recolor the bell tower.
  4. Well wonder kids, here is the status... I updated the rear section a little so it goes a little better with the front. Unfortunately, I ran out of bricks of the right color. the top of the bell tower in the rear, for example, should be white, not yellow, but I will have to wait for a BL order to finish that. I am also short cannon wheels for the guns, but so be it for now. I did manage some interiors so I will share a shot or two of that as well. Okay first, the new rear section with the bad colors and all And the bell back up there... Interior of the Master at arms office. And the armory! Now moving on to the front of the fortress... An over view... And the side shot... Starting at the top and working our way down... Removable, magnetic roof (wouldn't be ZCerberus without one!) The building with the balconies below that... The interior of the entry way below the upper tower level... A view with the whole tower removed... A shot of the under belly of the fortress. Then a few views of the whole fortress. Some other random stuff...
  5. Well maybe you should pay some more attention to your piratey friends!! I guess I don't check out the Star Wars enough either, but I can also like a good MOC even if it isn't pirates.
  6. I hope so! Now I just wonder if the rest of harbor is going to seem... well... "blah" heh. Well I am planning on adding a small fortress like section to the other side as well, so hopefully it will all look good. Well I thought about running the roof at that same angle, except with the two sides meeting in the middle like it does on the tower, it just didn't really work, it looked too stubby. I left the angles but then changed the fron facing to match the rest of the fortress What part was your favorite part? Well you would have to remember that there is still the whole rest of the harbor! Even still, I agree with you to a point. I think maybe I can do some minor modifications to increase its looks and fit. I need to redesign the connection sector a little anyway! Once, again, recall that there is several other sections that will be attached as well! Thanks, for the support boney, but I think that since I am a bigger fan of "cool factor", I should do something to update its look a little bit.
  7. Okay peeps, I am off to my girlfriends, so this will be brief. Hopefully tomorrow I can take pictures of the interiors and what not, but for now, two overviews of the progress. Still needs some wheels and cannons! More tomorrow!!
  8. Why thank you boney... but I think maybe I will try to make the upper most level and the second to top level... the one with the balconies, the same length and width. Right now the upper level is 1 wider and 1 longer. I will try to get to that today, then I will post a comparison pic. I think this change will make both sections look taller, and it will compress the upper roof a little which I might find more appealing. Stay tuned!
  9. Or maybe I wanted you to think it was a trap so you would stick to the open water so I could spring my REAL trap ;-) We'll wee what I come up with when I finally get around to building again!
  10. Now that we have the pictures this is rather interesting! I like the tower design, and we can always use more people who are good CADers! I must admit, though, the building on top of which the signals are placed looks like it could take quite a punishment. You said it would be unarmed, but I think you could arm it easily if you ever desired! You also get +1,000,000 points for originality! Go Norwegian ally! Go!
  11. We've been bringing the old threads back to life all week! I like the large door design and all the soldiers behind it. I also think you did a good job with the docks. It also appears a couple of your imperial guard figs are customs, I noticed, of course, the two with Jack Sparrow on the docks. I wonder 2 things though, 1), would the canons up top fall right over the edge if you ever fired them? I guess it isn't a big deal to me as I have always gone for 'cool factor' over reality, but if you care for such things, you might end up landing one of those 18 pounders on top of a soldier on the recoil. 2) What is supposed to be behind the wall? Is this the first of many walls that would enclose an area to be the inside of fort Victoria?
  12. Well it is still your MOC, I just threw on the roof. You would have done the same thing, and as I said, I didn't want that project to become 'mine'- I just wasn't sure you were ever going to get around to doing that particular version. Ultimately I think that if you want, you can take credit for the versions I posted in the thread as your own! :-D
  13. Don't cry! I am not sure foreshadows is the right word... maybe Overshadows?!
  14. You are correct sir! I fixed the links... I think! That is probably because at first it looked like 3 crippled walls! I think the size is just about where I want it. Now I just have to figure out how to finish the tower structure... if you mean the blue guy with the eye patch in thumb 4 I agree. Who ever I got the soldier from must have had that head on him and I just never changed it. I also dislike the head and I will change it sometime. Yes, I am a little concerned that the building behind ins a bit superfluous now. But at the same time it is also an armory storing lots of weapons of sorts and the master at arms can still look over the connecting fortress section! Who know what I will do. I also would like to remind you he can look left AND right... two out of three ain't bad? Well that whole mini structure is a bit flimsy... I'm not yet entirely sure what to do with it. I think I started with the threes to make sure the whole piece stayed together! I suppose I could do it with a plate just as easily as a brick.
  15. So a little more work. I am not sold on the roofing yet, so we'll see hot it looks when the center tower and the section that connects the two pieces is complete! Anyhow, what we've got going on!
  16. Well I shall try to lure you before I spring my trap then! ;) Ah my good man, you are thinking what I am doing! The old rear section, the armory part, is still going to remain intact. I guess with how massive the new fortress is getting though, it is basically going to hide the whole armory section behind it... oh well!
  17. No... but I can tell you it is heavy!
  18. As for the face... I really have no idea... you have actually stumped me!! Anyhow, minor update because I have to get back to some actual real world stuff... A my mom and dad were visiting today so they brought the fortress section of the fort. Here are two shots of the old fort (I am only replacing the front part) next to the new one!
  19. Nice! I never would complain about a CAD MOC! I would advise you to put links directly to the pictures and not the brickshelf folder, as the folder is not yet public for us. This being said, I can only see the small thumb in the link, and I cannot discern the details. Change the links to go directly to each picture or post a reasonable sized photo of the whole thing right in the post and then we can discuss it better! Keep on MOCing!
  20. I missed the monkey. Yes, definitely SurvieD. The Viking is Norro. You have to look in his signature, not his avatar to find the viking with the torch! I have not been acquainted with Mr. Smee...
  21. Hee hee, I like how all our avatars are on the ship, that is quality! I see Dream Web, Tiber, ZCerberus, Phes, Norrington, Sting, Baby Jawa, ApophisV, Phred, Evil Willy, Captain Roger and... Governor Broadside.
  22. What I was trying to say id that the ceiling of the first level... or the floor of the second level (which will be open to the air) come off to get to that first level there...
  23. Well it should start with an 'F'... for... well I can only think of inappropriate things that will get me in trouble... like Napoleon Dynamite saying you're a "Friggin' Idiot!", or "Fool" or such things... ohhh... I got it... "Well it should start with 'F' for "Fantastic Moderator"... (or friggin' idiot, your choice ;-) ) Well if it wasn't for the fact that Norro has mad building skills, maybe I would take issue, but if he meant it is almost good enough to be one of HIS Castles, I will take that as a very large compliment! The benefit is that I can take the second level off of it still!
