  1. thanks. And thats a good idea to change an existing train. I've made some pictures of a order that I received last friday. And some of a order that came in today. Last friday. I had already sorted everything out as you can see. And the one came in today. Still waiting for many orders to come
  2. @Pizzareno, I think your right about the wagon ruts. I'll have to change that. Thanks for the advice! @timmyc1983, Thanks, and at the moment I'm not adding any Lone Ranger sets because I like the old Western style better. Maybe later on if I make a second town or so, but don't know yet. The train is something that is on my mind to do, but it wil be at the end. I want to get more experienced first in building, because I think a train is really difficult to build.
  3. Thanks! Yes I'll definitely upload some pics when finished. Also when some new things are added I'll post a pic. I cant upload for every little thing though, cause I don't want to disrespect the other members by keeping my topic on top, especially as being new here. I am planning first to make the layout as big as I want it to be and keep it just basic, and from then on making it as detailed as possible. But that will take really long I think, several years..
  4. Hello, As promised I would show My western layout. it is only about 20% finished so tips and comments are always welcome. I introduced myself yesterday, so if anyone is interested http://www.eurobrick...wtopic=88585= I am waiting untill the other room is ready, where I will have more space for my lego so I can make my layout's size about 2 times as bigg. You'll see I like to keep the sets original, at least one of each, and the extra stuff that I make, I try to keep the same style. Here are the first pictures, the total layout This is where it starts, border entering Texas Indian village, as you can see I still miss set 6748 BoulderCliff Canyon A train bridge that I am trying to make with the parts I have at the moment, and a hanging bridge. They will be used in the "Gran Canyon" A second, smaller fort that I've made, and will be used as a prison A small Farm/Ranch, Not yet finished Bandits Secret Hideout Sheriff got the Wanted Sign Guy (don't know the name) Cavalry Army (will be much bigger when I'm done) The Town, Still a lot work to be done And offcourse the Legoredo Fort Thats about it. When I compaire this to other Moc's / layouts, I know this is all very simple. But he, just starting.. I hope you all like it so far, as you can see I'll be bussy for quite a while. But I think I'll enjoy every moment. Greetings Ritsz
  5. I'm sorry! I'm new here, and as a big fan of Western I was searching for Western topics. I found this one, and I think I got a little to excited..
  6. Hello, I've already posted in the Western topic but because I read you wanted to seperate the Western from the Indian sets I'll post here again. I really love all the sets, but 6748 Boulder Cliff Canyon stands out a little bit more for me. Maybe because it's harder to get by these days that it has become a bit of a obsession for me to get that set. I already had all the sets months earlier before I had this one, it took me a lot of time to get one that was in great condition. I also have to say that over time I began to love Indian sets even a bit more then the Western sets (don't know why to be honest). After all these years still have to say, thanks for this topic! I do love to read and know everything about this theme. (obsessed)
  7. Hello all, can I still post after 4 years? I just joined EB and love Western. I've got all of the sets, some of the sets I got more then once. I couldnt decide wich one is the best, but I do like the blue Cavalry soldiers a lot. I am making a Western layout and try to keep it in the original style. I just started, but hope it'll become a really big one. I would love it if Lego ever produced some sets in the same old style, espacially a train set with train and station I do mis, and of course a Saloon. But sad enough I don't think that's ever going to happen
  8. Hello Duarte and Welcome to EuroBricks! I'm also 24 years old and just got back into lego a few months ago. I am also just new here myself, but would love to see your Western creations, as I'm a Western fan to. Greetings Ritsz
  9. Thanks a lot WaysofSorting!!! I've read the links you gave me. But still do not know if I have to be a Vassal 10+ or a Citizen if I want to start a new topic in the Historic forum so I can show my pics? Also it says that you can upload a maximum of 100KB. Butt the pictures are around 250KB. If I make them even smaller I'm afraid the others won't be able to see them good enough. I'm sorry for all the questions!
  10. Thanks!!
  11. Okee thanks, then I'll be posting for a while...
  12. I really thought you would have been collecting for a long time now, then I'm even more impressed with your dio's! Off: Does anyone know how long it takes to be a fully member, because it wont let me upload any images at the moment...
  13. Hello, I am really impressed with your MOC's. I've been looking at all your pictures on flickr and have to ask, how long have you been building, collecting Lego? I love the Western one, as I'm a Western fan, but the others are maybe even better. Keep on building, and I'll follow youre creations
  14. I wish my parents would have done the same. But at that time I was really happy they let me sell it so I could buy a GameBoy Advance. When I look at that GameBoy right now, (I still have it) I think it turned out to be a really expensive one. But enough said over this. Thanks for the Welcomes and I'll show my western collection as soon as possible.
  15. Thanks for the quick answer. I hope to start a topic at the end of this weekend and upload some pics. haha, I aslo hope there's some guy like me who sells me his good old lego for 50:D
  16. Hello, First of all, sorry for my bad English. I'm 25 years old, at the moment I live in Spain. I loved lego till I was about 12-13 years old then sold everything that I had for just 50 euro! 1 minute after selling it I already regret it. I started to get interested again just 4 months ago, and already have lots of lego. the theme's that I like the most are the ones that I used to like when I was a child. But the one I love the most by far is lego Western. I've been searching for all the western sets and got them all apart from 2, 6748 and 6799. Some of the sets I got 2 or 3 times, and one 6716 Covered Wagon/Weapons Wagon I got 4 times. I am making an MOC/layout with all I have, plus lots of extra parts. And I would like to share some pics with all the (interested) members. And hope members will give me some advices or share interest in the Western theme. Can someone please tell me where I should start a topic for posting the pics? Thanks to all and Greetings Ritsz
