  11. Thanks lego2000 What is your picture supposed to be? a robot?
  12. If his weirdos drive through a railroad crossing they will fall off the table and surely die anyway so who cares :-D Unless they drive airplanes. But everyone has to die someday and they're probably not innocent either so if they die fiddlesticks :-D Btw I like the buildings alot, especially the red/white house!! Very good.
  13. Susie has it!!! :-X :-X :-| :'-( hey you have alot of bricks!
  14. Thanks guys for the comments and suggestions!! :-) I have added a picture of a global view of my country. Yes gylman it is in the attic so i had to take a few pics to get the overall impression as the beams *wacko* get in the way! the pics should be here: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/legoland...ity-oct2106.jpg i made quite a lot of changes today. hinckley! unfortunately this is my stadium maybe number 50, but i had no camera in the past :-( in other stadia ive made, ive had more detail and bigger terraces and christmas lights built-in to light up the pitch at night. i will try and modify this one to have the the lights as the effect can be very good. well, see you around

  16. Layout Here are some pictures of my Legoland City. :-) I would like people to suggest changes or ideas if they have any :-) I have knocked down the tall blue apartment block and expanded the black old town castle walls. I have also replaced the large bridge. I am making a river at the moment. I will put up some new pics soon. You can view the Latest Photos here
  17. yes you are completely right mr phoinix! everything in 1980s and to a lesser extent the early 90s were alot more realistic, from design of roadplates, cars to their sizes. Unfortunately also i think there isnt enough normal civilian sets, by which i meean there arent many standard cars which you might see in a real city, all the cars seem to be either emergency services or ferrari-type sports cars, or even worse, weirdos going surfing! Of course the real issue is that lego are reducing the amount of plastic they use in sets to save money. every new roadplate version the foothpaths get smaller and again more unrealistic. who wants grass on the footpaths of a city centre?!? :-| lego corp ... :'-(
  18. yes Miner, towns n trains n castles are the best I guess. i see u are an artist. of some note! graphics n lego are good together for sure. But I dont know why you like the western stuff so much. Maybe you like brown bricks? :-) I think too many of the figures look the same, like the same dodgy characters in all the sets. actually you know, i think it pity that lego went over the top on face expressions :-| X-O 8-
  19. Yes Dillon, Hobbes should be my friend, Im sure! 8-| ok Im a vassal and you are some kind of 'fellow' so these are all weirdo castle terms. Yes I think this site is a good site. thanks, see you
  20. Hi I have run a Legoland football league each year since October 1993 with 22 lego football clubs battling it out in the nation's top division to be crowned Serie A Champions. The following is a list of the Serie A winners since the league started with a brief description of the winning clubs. 06-07 Current season 05-06 Legoland FC 04-05 Inter Police 03-04 Inter Police (The Pigs, are a small club who shocked everyone by landing the title not once but twice. Supported almost entirely by cops they are not liked) 02-03 Celebs 01-02 Celebs (The "Slobs" as they are often known are owned by rich famous Lego businessmen. Printing guru Mr Prints is president of the Turin club) 00-01 Legoland FC 99-00 Legoland FC 98-99 Legoland United 97-98 Legoland United (2nd largest club in Legoland after bitter rivals Legoland FC. Liked by alot more than LFC, only club who have never sacked their manager) 96-97 Roma (The Roman club have huge supporter base in the city of Rome in Castleland but the 96-97 championship was the club's only honour) 95-96 Torino (Local rivals of the Legoland Emperor's club Juventus, Torino were the dominant club from the city until their recent bankruptcy and relegation) 94-95 Lion Lakers (The biggest club in Castleland with supporters primarily coming from Castle Lion soldiers. Has underachieved since its 1995 title win) 94-94 Port Villa (The largest seaside club in Legoland with a large support base in the pirate islands) 93-94 Legoland FC (The most famous club in Legoland with the largest supporter base. Also the most hated club by far. Known for its sacking of managers, dirty and cheating players, and rioting fans) Legoland teams squads are made up of "real" footballers such as Oliver Kahn, Ronaldo, Mark Bresciano, Lionel Messi, Francesco Totti, Raul etc and clubs have to purchase these players and pay them wages and so on. All players have ratings depending on their performance in "real life" and their performances in the Serie A SuperLeague (the Legoland Football League). Because players can help improve a team (if they are good and have good ratings) they become valuable and clubs try to outbid each other to sign them. Money for the clubs is generated from ticket sales and the selling of television rights and sponsorship deals. Money available depends on the level of economic activity in Legoland City, for example, whether the city is built-up and big or whether most lego is unmade. Currently the nation is being rebuilt so the recent recession has finally ended. The actual results of the League matches are simulated by a program I made that takes into account the teams results from the last 5 seasons, the team's players and manager's abilities and the teams and individual players' current form. Like most football leagues, there is 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw and 0 for a defeat. You can keep up to date on the league and results and any weird happenings on my website, http://legolandtimes.bravehost.com I have also made a lego version of the Championship Manager 97/98 computer game (if anyone knows of this game?) with my lego teams replacing those of real game. If anyone still plays this game and wants to try out my lego version please just send me a mail. Also, as I can add more "countries" into the game if anyone would like their lego country/city included into the game it is no problem - just send their names on to me. I have put up some pics from old legoland football matches. Unfortunately the league suffered from hooliganism, especially from Legoland FC (LFC) :-| fans. :-|
