  1. Thanks for the review. Looks like a great addition to the “The Unofficial LEGO builders Guide”. It's a shame that “Getting Started with LEGO Trains” is no longer available not even in digital format from No Starch Press as I would love to own a copy. “Technic for teh win”
  2. Wow what a surprise. Looks great TLG!
  3. Awesome MOC Teazza!
  4. Looking for 1 complete set shipped to the USA. Sealed or unsealed packages is OK. Please PM me if you can help.
  5. I'm adding some more information I've came across concerning 3d printers and Roland's new milling machine. Roland's iModela Hobby Milling Machine Link With the iModela hobby milling machine, 3D modelers and hobby enthusiasts can easily and accurately create and embellish a wide range of projects by producing 3D shapes, reliefs, textures and patterns from modeling wax, foam, balsa wood and plastic materials. Some of you may recognize the Roland name. Roland is the same corporation that makes musical instruments/products. Current State of Consumer 3D Printing Link - A good article covering consumer 3d printers available as of January 2012.
  6. PF Bluetooth receiver and remote control. Forgot to mention re-releasing 7996 Train Rail Crossing. The prices on BrickLink and eBay are ridiculous.
  7. Chris thank you for sharing the presentations. They were informational and enjoyable. I hope more presentations and workshops from BrickWorld will be posted online in the future.
  8. Is there any progress being made on posting any of the presentations or workshops online? If this is geared more towards Brickworld 2012 I would like to add that the community would benefit at having all the presentations and workshops available online or possibly as a DVD to purchase for those who could not attend or get a spot in a workshop.
  9. It's a great day to be a FOL. Thank you TLG!
  10. Great job WhiteFang! I still think TLG needs to work on the distribution of each minifig. What are we going to do with 5 Zoo Keepers? I would of liked to see more Mafia Gangsters, Gladiators, and Dwarves Warriors of course. Less Zoo Keepers, Aerobics Instructors, Circus Clowns, and Boxers per case. There is some consistency happening. In Series 5 were getting 4 Cavewomen per case to match up with the 4 Cavemen from Series 1 (no lonely hearts). In the long run, I think it's more of the accessories making me want each new series than the minifigs themselves.
  11. Amazing layout MXLPT! Can't wait to see the additional pictures.
  12. Alienwar9 could you post an LDD file of the tank? I really like your Humvee design. I hope to build both if I can round up the pieces.
  13. Welcome back wolfwing! This thread should help get you started: How to start building up a brick collection best? The Medieval Market Village has a lot of great elements, you won't regret it.
  14. GH599 welcome! Take a look here Brickset: Large Scale Models and you may also like Brickset: Modular Houses. LEGO Shop@Home or a LEGO store in your area are you best bet to track down most of these. Some sets have have been discontinued which Brickset will inform you of. Also you can always check the secondary markets such as Ebay or BrickLink. Hope that gives you a start GH599.
  15. is looking for that lost LEGO

  16. Thanks for the info Polish Guy.
  17. Let me be more specific. What elements are the stores able to get in "k boxes"? I assume the store probably has extra k boxes in the stock room of what is already stocked on the PaB wall, but it would be nice to see what is available in general to possibly place a special order. From what information I can gather, it sounds as if the store has a special list or catalog to choose through to order k boxes to stock their PaB wall. That list would be wonderful to take a look at especially if it includes quantity per box and the retail price of the k boxes.
  18. Does anyone have a list of what elements are available for a LEGO store to order to stock their PaB wall? Is it basically the same selection as the PaB online?
  19. I second that! Plus imagine having LDD as part of an educational distro aimed at kids like Edubuntu or Foresight.
  20. This is very handy if you have an Android phone. Android App to Check Lego Set Price http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=43176
