Oh, I've been looking for a thread like this, I'd like to ask if anyone knows about the 3x3 plate. I own one in light gray, having obtained it in a promo Z-95 headhunter.
-
We don't know that, Lavertus Outland Base seems to suggest that he's a rougue Lion searching for the Legend beasts through the outlands, and I would hold off on saying anything negative until we see the set pictures, Heroica's Iirion didn't seem to add anything, but the comic moved the plot forwards quite a bit. (and resolved it for that matter.)

Yeah, I have my DVR Set to record new episodes, and it didn't record. Sometimes though, Cartoon network has hid a new episode under the name of an old one, I think that's what happened.

I play Minecraft, and I liked the first sets design, but that white and red thing has me confused, is it restone? A torch? Herobrine?

LEGO Legends of Chima Video Games Discussion
krystalKING replied to Aanchir's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
My tag is still the same, and since I haven't posted it, here it is: Scheming Dreamycreeper (I love Minecraft, if you can't tell. ) Anyway, the full screen option isn't highlighted on my computer either. Huh. EDIT: What? I click to see what a guys name is, and the words 'join' and 'visit' are still on the screen afterwards?! EDIT 2: After getting a lot of friend requests from random people, I will saythat if your names not on this thread, then I won't friend you.- 130 replies

I know I'm double posting, but as one of songs says: DON'T LET THE FIRE DIE! Tonights episode, odd, I think. At least Skinnet was fleshed out as a character a bit more. And the gorillas are slightly better as a tribe now. Most character's who had a major role in the last episodes have been demoted to extras. I liked it, despite still feeling like filler.
-
I'd take either Chima, or, if not Lego themes, my own world. It's post-apocalyptic, and you are basically given a second chance in a new world.
-
Ok, Tonights episode was one long battle, and that kind of cut into my enjoyment, and seems to have prevented the Eagles from delveloping as a real tribe. Other than that, The battle was enjoyable, and it was fun, yet more subtle romance between Laval and Eris, and wolves that looked awesome as shock troops. Wait, a mysterious competitor in episode 8? Dom de la Whoosh? Episode 7, the hundred year moon has this description: Crooler wants to lure Laval, Eris and Gorzan into a rescue. I'm just as confused as anyone else here, so don't ask me.

So this is the movie I've been looking for, for the past four years! I saw it a long time back, memory faded the name, and now I rediscover it! Fantastic engine by the way,the smoke and fire gives a sense of high speed, and without it, I'm sure it would look good.
-
I saw every single Chima set in existence, with the exception of the vaentines polybags, turns out Gorzans striker is also popular, that and the command ship were there, but they were scarce. The Promo, and I didn't watch the review, but I think you can agree with me, is just parts, kind of impressed that they put in a green 8x8 plate, its like that 3x3 plate on the Z-95 headhunter Promo, how many people know that part was made? Note: Eris' axe in sky joust, is called Axcalibur.

I had a rather different event, there was a table showcasing the new speedorz, in packaging of course, and the builds were handed out inside bags with instuctions. That didn't stop the chaos around it, however. Kids were dumping the bags, building the model on the floor, and running around screaming.(I kid you not.) All the time, I was calmly walking around, checking out the new wave sets. I walked in not intending to buy anything, I walked out with crugs swamp jet and Sky Joust.

I showed a fellow lego fan brickset and brickshelf, and he pointed me to Eurobricks as part of our exchange. I have lurked here since 07, but I joined when the prince of Persia contest began, I had kept saying I would sign up, and the contest provided me the perfect reason to.

Alright, that was interesting. SPOILERS I found the market being an interesting spot. The Rhinos continue with their fail/troll logic, and skinnet has a slightly larger role than before. I wasn't so impressed with the first half, and it seemed really rushed, but it was still worth seeing. The second features the first entrance of Equila, who's orange is really part of those goggles. Overall, the race was nice, with a nice pace. (For racing, at least.) All topped with the appearance of normal Speedorz sets. the multiple leads didn't really do much to mask the fact of Worriz's certain victory, however, Eris' lead gave me the hope of a different victor. Overall, the episode wasn't THAT good, but the race made up for most of the flaws.

Not watching that, I don't want any spoliers, but 'Hundred year moon' sounds like a once-in-a-century event.
-
That new character doesn't look much like a bird, maybe the black thing I saw was a wing, but I thinks its a tail. Whats more interesting is that when the announcer syas "And their Allies" If you pause, there is some wierd flying machine, mostly gray, some purple ?Red? I think? Its clearly not an Intereceptor, as the body structure and colorations are complelty different, and there multiples, ruling out the idea of a rougue Eagle or Raven.

Allright, here's my thoughts on the episode as seen on TV, and not on a tiny computer screen. Legend beast: I saw it last night, so i can't remember where, but during Lagravis' travels, the shadow of the Eagle legend beast is visible. Beavers: Hilarious, add a pinch of cuteness and you have a successful tribe, in fact, I'm betting this tribe will be neutral. Crocs: Improved in an odd way, They seem a little more, I don't know, they seem to have changed somehow. Cragger: He seems to be more like a brother with Crooler, something that extends to both of them. Seems that the plant has a better effect, he only needed one spray for the whole episode. Crooler: Very interesting, not much change, other than being more sister like, and two interesting facts. One, she sounded like Eris when she fell. (Voice actor fail!) and that whip, against Eris... seems similar. Eris: I skipped the Eagle tribe, because they just don't appear, but anyway, more romance with laval (sunset, road trip in general.) This time, she proved she has a couple tricks up her wings, (Board attack, use of technobabble, you do have to fight Eris with your mind, and use of beaver mentality.) Along with actual use of her wings, more than once. Lions: overall, less talk of the rules, and far more interesting. Lagravis: Can still kick butt when needed, and his reaction to his tank, would've been puny compared to my reaction if I had owned the tank. Laval: Almost subjected Eris and himself to death by irony at two separate times. The first would've been death by falling for Eris, and drowning in Chi for himself. Rhinos: I don't really have many words, except that they seem to have ADD, among other things. Wolves: Cannot use Speedorz, at all. On to interesting things. The climatic battle at the dam was actually exciting, maybe I like one-on-one climatic battles, but this put episode two's climax to shame. The pacing wasn't as good as three, which was acceptable., and Eris can teleport, When Laval woke up, she literally came out of nowhere. The music was awesome, and that's all I have to say about that.

When did your collection reach critical mass?
krystalKING replied to Arigomi's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I'm at about 55K, and its not going to be at critical mass anytime soon, I need white bricks for this castle, green for this landscape, click joints for this machine ETC. Still, I find ways to improvise. -
Legends of Chima future tribes ideas.
krystalKING replied to DarkSurgeXL's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Looking at your Avatar, I wonder how you came up with this... If they did a horse tribe, I think they'd follow the 'standard' they seem to have created, five characters, with four being one color, and another being something different, two characters getting deep personalties, and the others are generic army builders. -

I guess your right, and I can record the reruns in Hi-def, all the while getting a better look at the lion temple. (I need to see it better for a project I'm working on. )
-
My God, what the heck is going on here? I mean, a rerun was to be expected, but we have to wait a week for a new episode? Wow.

Chima seems to be doing well over here, the speedorz have evidence of selling, especially the nest dive, ice tower, and jungle gates. The sets seem to be varying, at one, the Eagle Interceptors are mostly gone, with an overload of lion vehicles, while the other one ten miles away is missing Craggers command ship and most lion stuff everyday. So I think Chimas doing well here.
