Receiving Mission 9.3 Log..... Log Received. Begin Mission Log: We made it outside the ship and a fierce fight ensued. Droids were coming from everywhere. We should have had another trooper. It's too bad we didn't have one. Maybe I'll try to get another..... My men didn't make it out of this in one piece. It'll be good fro them to get their rest. I'll be happy once this mission is over. I hate the cold. End Mission Log Transmission Ended Beacon off. Beacon on. This was a very fun build. I started with the light function and just went from there. You have no idea how much cooler this is in person. Showing the beacon's light function. A fairly simple working idea. Just a rod that goes through the base and presses on the light brick. And trust me, this looks a lot better in person. Since I can't embedded the video. Here's a link of the working light function. Okay after reading this a bit more thoroughly, these rumors seem quite ridiculous! It would be great if we did get a commando droid battle pack (and for that matter a ARC trooper battle pack), but as far as I can remember LEGO has never put a minifigure in a battle pack that has ever been released again. While the "two factions in a battle pack" idea isn't a bad one I doubt LEGO will ever change their system. And we only got 7 new sets last year, so I doubt we'll see 11(!) sets. That's the old one.

Wow these are some developments! I can't say I'm sure I like the "two factions in a battle pack" idea but it does seem somewhat logical. As for the collectible minis, I can't wait to see them! Now to find out which rumors are true....
