These really are quite interesting. I like the fact that they're just scaled up minifigures with a clock. While the alarm clocks are nice, I'm not interested in the Toy Story ones. I may pick up the Star Wars ones at some point but we'll see. Nice work on the review.

These Bionicles really were cool. I had yet to be introduced to LEGO when these guys were out so I don't have any. But they really are cool models. (Even if they are simple.) And you did a good job reviewing him.

Review: 7959 Geonosian Starfighter
Masked Builder replied to Masked Builder's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Thanks! Yeah that visor really does add to the character. You're welcome! That's good, I think. Thanks I'm glad you liked it. Ah. Well I got it on sale so it wasn't too bad of a deal. Thanks Starstreak! I'm glad you like that bit. Thanks! You're welcome! It's a great set. -

"I shall attack the gray rat, to the right of the white one, from the front row." -
Yeah that's one thing I don't like about him. Whoa nice eyes. I didn't notice that.

Good work on the review. You were very thorough. I for one cannot wait to get this set, okay I'm waiting for it to go on sale, I missed the last one and the minifigures are quite cool as well. That 1x1 round hologram brick really is cool. And that last picture!

REVIEW: 30080 Ninja Glider
Masked Builder replied to WhiteFang's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
While this is a fairly simple set, I'm very interested in getting it. The swords are cool, and the Ninja is one of the rarer ones. Simple is good in this case! -
A fun little set. You did a good job reviewing it. The highlights of this set for me really are the minifigures. Simple, yet very cool. I did consider getting this but I never did.
-
Certainly a cool set. It's pretty well designed and the minifigures are great! I'm not going to be dishing out the $90 to get it though. I may Bricklink the Han figure though.

REVIEW: 30141 (Dude with Large Jetpack)
Masked Builder replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Not a bad little set. A fairly simple set, though you do get a ADU minifigure and some cool parts. I think I'm going to dish out the $5 to get this off Bricklink. -
Thanks! The figures really are the highlight of the set. Yeah today. (The 23rd) Sorry.

Review: 7959 Geonosian Starfighter
Masked Builder replied to Masked Builder's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Thanks! Yeah I considered keeping them private but I decided not to. Don't worry I'll be back to MOCing soon! I do too. One cool figure. -
I've been reading though my friends old LEGO catalogs and came across this. As always, you've done an amazing job with this set review. It's cool to see how much LEGO has improved sets they've revisited. And I agree with you, it is really ugly!

These are really cool! The size is great, and the way you've adapted them really works.

REVIEW: 7962 Anakin's & Sebulba's Podracers
Masked Builder replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Cool stuff Cloney O'! I think that the minifigures are a great improvement over their older counterparts. The pods look pretty good too! You included some goo humor as well! Keep up the good work! -
Very cool! I was thinking of doing this myself! Now the way you've done it isn't bad but, I'd like the wand to taper down to the point instead of that odd handle. But that's me.

When I saw the episode Monster, this speeder was one of the coolest ships, okay one of the only ships, in the episode. So when we got pictures of this set I was psyched to see Savage, pronounced sa-VAGE, in the set. I was even happier to see the new Anakin and Ventress. On top of all of that we got a new ship. Shall we see if the set holds up to my expectations? Click here to see the high-res photo. When I first heard about this set I couldn't wait. You guys know me, I'm all for Commander Cody, and new minifigures too. (I really am turning into a mini Clone O'Patra!) Okay I like my starfighters too, I guess that doesn't show though, I don't have any of the Jedi Starfighters. But when I saw the picture I was very pleased with the way the minifigures were designed and how well the starfighter looked. I had missed the first one so let's see what I think about this one! Over the last year five six new Teachers have swelled the ranks, and many students are carefully working towards becoming Teachers as well. As always, plenty of sets new and old have been reviewed, adding to the already massive amount of Academy approved reviews. Since the creation of the Academy, reviews have been held at a high standard, one that we have maintained consistently these three years. As Teachers, we continually strive to meet this high standard ourselves. After completing the nine required reviews and graduating, Teachers remain active, helping the next wave of students and writing their own reviews. We've got twenty new reviews for you to read. Be sure you read them all so you don't miss the fun! Click here to join! Thanks for a third great year! "I say we try B-A-T," whispers Alexis who had been rather quiet up to this point. "I can't think of any other possible combination's. T-E-N seems pretty unlikely." -
Walks into the hall and notices that she has been chose for "Looking Through The Wares." Sadly, she notice that none of her firends have been chose for the quest. "Mabye I can make friends with Rufindel," she thinks to herself. I'm ready to depart now, Quest leader!
