Just Imagine

"Rookies" and "Landing at Point Rain" were my favorite eps. I find the Clone Troopers far more interesting then the Jedi or other "Good Guys." I wish they would make a Star Wars movie that was like WWII, except with Clones and for adults, so no silly Ahsoka or Jar Jar Binks. I think that season I was pretty weak, it had some good eps here and there but overall is was pretty bad. Season II was a great improvement, but still not amazing. I think the finale was a bit of a disappointment, I liked the trailer for the finale better then the finale for S2 itself.

I don't mind, I was wondering what it would look like in white, actually. Originally I was planning to make it in white, but I didn't have the 3 white fin pieces.

After seeing the new UCS Imperial Shuttle coming out I wanted to build one for myself. I didn't have the parts to build a UCS or Midi scale one, so I built a Mini. I find building Mini's a lot more fun, I think I have to say that I have more respect for a builder who can create with very little than a builder who can create with a lot. So here's the shuttle: Front of the shuttle. Side of the shuttle. Back of the shuttle. The wings can fold up for landing. The shuttle disassembled. Simple, straightforward build. Here we start with the main part of the shuttle. Add on the bottom and the engines. The 'T' pieces. Attach the wings and it's all done. C&C is welcome.

Back when Toys R Us had the poll for which set to do (Home One Mon Calamari Star Cruiser won) one of the options was Palpy's Arrest. They also had a option for Slave I (Although it might have just been Cloud City, I'm not sure).

I regret to say that I'm not going to be able to enter after all. I started my entry as a small, but after seeing pretty nearly everybody post a small I scrapped my model and tried to make a "Destruction of Aldeeran" scene. I built the Death Star just fine, but I ran out of trans orange and red bricks for the explosion.

It looks AMAZING from the outside... but after seeing the inside of the cockpit and how it can hold all 4 figs it doesn't seem like there will be anything in the actual middle of the shuttle... Great outside, not so great inside.

The FN P90 looks great. Very, very good job on these.

Hmm, on second thought I think I might wait until near the end to post my MOC. Mainly because I want to know what I'm up against, and because my MOC can be a Large or a Small really.

The shuttle cockpit looks like one giant hunk of plastic, meaning we will get less for our money. Everything else looks great about it, though.

Wow, whung is on a roll today. Thanks for the pic. Still not too crazy for Hero Factory... the mere fact that this set contains two figures and that a single 12 piece Hero costs 10+ USD will probably mean this set will be waaaay overpriced. I wish HF sets had more pieces and gears, like the first Bionicles, since they are, well, robots.

Hmm, I think I might take more time to get it juuuust right. And now that you mentioned power functions I;m thinking of adding some to mine.

It's going to be relativity small and simple, so it didn't take that long. Plus, I figure the sooner I get it up the more advice I can get on improving it, no?

Thanks for the review! The only very, very minor complaint I have with Brick Daddy is that his face isn't squishy, making it look a bit too "shiny" and "plastic" for my tastes.

I would love to see a Mando/Bounty Hunter battle pack. Or just a Clone Commando pack, I don't think the Commando is very likely at all... but the Bounty Hunter one might actually happen.

Indeed, I only have a average digital camera. I'll see if I can get better results by taking the photos in a more controlled environment, without the sun's glare and with a cleaner backround, etc. More pics should be coming soon.

I'll defiantly try to get some better quality pics up as soon as I can. I'm also thinking of changing those two gray 1 X 4 sloped bricks on either side of the cockpit to a row of cheese slopes, I think it would fit the shape of the ship more.

Took somewhat better pics, not the best... But it was, unfortunately, the best I could do. The ship is essentially the same, just a few things changed here and there. I changed the 1 X 4 gray sloped piece to 4 dark gray cheese slopes. It looks MUCH better. I also changed the interior of the ship to dark gray instead of black. Again, sorry about the not so great quality of the pics.

Don't get me wrong, I would LOVE Lego to make a DW theme. But, unfortunately, I don't think it's ever going to happen.

It might sell somewhat well in the US, but I don't think it would even out the price of making new molds for the aliens, no faces, new hair, etc.

The mini figs are amazing! These are must haves for me, the hair, torsos, faces, everything. It's about time TLC made new hair styles and different faces. Plus, this is a great opportunity to stock up on capes.
