Yes indeed. I've added the midi and UCS version to the list as well. I left out the mini, since it's so very small Now I'll have to change my statement as the new midi-scale is my overall favorite Millenium Falcon. It's a great design and the size is perfect for display and swooshing. The UCS is of course also great, it's just too big if you know what I mean

I've fixed the title and question for this topic. With the coming of a new midi-scale Millenium Falcon this is a good question... And a question that's been debated a few times before Which do you prefer? The Classic Ol' Skool version or the improved 4504 version which has the top that's fragile and falls of when swooshed? Personally I like them both a lot, the old one because it's nostalgic and the newer version because it's a beauty. Happy discussing Oh yeah, in the future please keep "What shoould I buy?"-questions out of the Star Wars Forum.

They haven't been done by TLG, have they? It has to be an existing theme or a discontinued theme. Forestmen would do, zombies and steam punk don't. Sorry.
-
Arw thanks I'll pm you my adress

What would I do without you Thanks for making the idea of this contest so crystal clear
-
You've got a point there, but since this is the Star Wars Forum, I think it needs to look Star Wars like and thus you're requested to do something that resembles a Star Wars craft in another theme's version.
-
They're awesome. How much are you asking for copies? Though I think the golden line across the board should go 'all the way'.
-
Which theme is doing the invading here? The contest is the other way around. You need to 'MOD' a Star Wars vehicle/fighter/vessel/stuff into another theme and have it invade the Star Wars Universe. I don't see much invasion in a City Crane...
-
Nice speeder. Perhaps you could share a few more pics of it with us?

Great MOD and equally great pics. Thanks for sharing it with us

Damn you Only one entry per person is a rule and I'll add that now Staff is allowed to enter, but they can't be voted for or win. It's all a question of show-off... I can't extend it. That would put us too close to the summer break and I'll be off from around the 30th and six weeks after. Sorry about that. I can give you 5 days and extend it to the 15th though, how does that sound?

Great speeders DSR

Master eBay Auctions thread - post noteworthy auctions here
KimT replied to interstellar's topic in LEGO Pirates
I'd buy that if I had the money for it. [rushes off to buy a lottery ticket] -
A good question was raised in the "Show your army and display topic", so I've moved it here for all to discuss.

That does depend on wether you're going to build an entire DS or not. A vignette isn't allowed as you're supposed to build a vessel meaning vehicle, fighter, walker and stuff like that. If you were to build let's say a small DS with 200+ parts, then you're good and in the clear. Since this question was posted, I've been doing some serious thinking (thanks ) and therefore the following update has been made to the rules: Is now: Build a non-Star Wars themed vessel, depicting an existing or discontinued LEGO theme's version of a Star Wars fighter/vehicle/whatever - and yes Fabuland is a theme :tongue Meaning that you should 'copy' a craft into another theme. Examples could be: City Renovation AT-AT Pirate Barracuda AT-TE Western RGS Ninja Stealth Falcon Viking Y-Longboat Any questions to this new change may be posted here and I'll answer as fast as possible. Sorry for any inconvenience and confusion this may cause And no, the 'copied' craft does not have to have been released by TLG. Anything Star Wars will do, as long as you provide info on the 'original' version.

My thoughts exactly. Awesome work

Thanks I am glad you like it. The good thing about this one is that you don't actually need to own a lot of Star Wars lego to be part of it. All you need is a little imagination and some parts from another theme and you're good to go. The small minimium requirements (min of 200 parts) should be doable by most members here.

Isn't close to six weeks enough? How much time do you need? Skipping food, friends and sleep is one way to gain more time to do this Finally Good. Make sure to post any future questions here, so we can clear the way for making entries as fast as possible.
-
Right, it wouldn't count as you need to make a 'vessel' of some kind. Now if you were to make an entire Fabuland Star Of Destruction and enter that, then we'd have a totally different story. It's meant as inspiration, not as a final entry to copy.
-
Then the trick would be to have it look Star Wars-ish, wouldn't it? There needed to be some challenge in this contest and this is it Good luck Mr Discuss It All. Yes, I thought it'll look good as an example of how a Western entry could be. I know it's meant to be steam, but it has that Western sense to it whilst still being Star Wars. And you wondered how to do that "You need some schooling young man!"
-
That's meant as an opening. I could be that you wish to do a Western 'Copy' of an RGS and then you'll be copying an existing Star Wars Fighter. Or perhaps you want to do a Viking Space Longboat and then you'll be doing an non-existing Star Wars Fighter. Clear? Here's a few inspirational links for you guys to look at. Link1 Link2 See if you can quess which is Fabuland and which is Western Remember they're only inspirational

Must be an existing or discontinued LEGO theme and I am most sure that Dr Who hasn't ever been done by TLG. You need to keep it within the rules I've added this to the first post to elaborate a little on the idea of this contest:
-
Thanks guys. I've missed that it was a suspended punishment. Pheewww! Then it isn't all that bad after all.
-
No problemo.
-
Exactly. How would the Viking theme look in the Star Wars Universe? A Western Death Star sounds awesome All you need to ensure is that you obey the rules described in the first post od this topic. The amazing place called the internet.
