What book are you reading right now?
Norrington replied to Norrington's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Just started reading Twilight at Monticello. Did you know that Thomas Jefferson had such bad migraines in his later years that he had to go into an empty, pitchblack room at Monticello, and sit there for the entire duration of the headache. -

Jipay: For Holmes, I'm using this as an inspiration. For Dr. Watson, I'm using this: Well, I'll start work now... -

Why? Does my post contain spoilers? -
Well, I'm not sure if this has been done before, but I love to read and am very curious as to what the rest of you are reading. Well, Right now I am on the last couple of pages of Jay Worrall's book "Any Approaching Eneemy," the sequel of "Sails on the Horizon. Both are books based in the Napoleonic British Navy, and follow the adventures of R.N. captain Charles Edgemont. I highly recommend them. I hope to start on Twilight at Monticello: The Final Years of Thomas Jefferson by Alen Pell Crawford.

Thank you Jipay. Do you want a Sherlock Holmes Decal? Or maybe Watson? -

You Know You Love Lego Too Much When...

Hm... Wishing to be able to build something someone else has built isn't to unusual. How 'bout this one: 55: You wonder why the Titanic's engineers didn't bring any bricks to patch a hole. -

All righty, ready for the new batch? Well, be warned, only one is original. The rest are recolors. A suit for an exscursion to the seaside: Another alternate version of the Victor Van Dort Torso: A brown tailcoat: And some more rehashes: And the new, and best: Sweeney Todd's Perelli: Expect Sweeney himself, and mabe Mrs. Lovett, perhaps Toby or Anthony. The Gallery, when moderated: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=290298 EDIT: I am still working on Sweeney's vest (The lapels are actualy very hard to do!), but I have done his apron, complete with the belt which holds his trusty, and slightly rusty razor! Sweeney Todd: -
The TPAM as well as TPAH are both capitalizing on my ability to make words... :-)

Which ST did you get, the regular or the one with the booklet? Anyway, I love Tim Burton. Even though this isn't original, or animated, it really feels like one of his originals. By the way, don't you love how in the stop-motions he exxagerates everything? As in, if you're tall, you're a giant and if you're pudgy you're a toad, and if your skinny you could stand behind a rail, &tc.?

I voeted for "Swooshing" and "Playing ventriloquist." Then I put it on my shelf to admire, then see what MOCs I may be working on and incorperate parts of the set (i.e. removing a cool roof and putting it on), and helping finish the MOC.

Umm... Ok. That wasn't a name, I was saying you were doing good and being great. At the same time! X-O

Grood... Um... Great+Good= Grood.

:-D TPATPAM is wrong. I mean that Mr. H.W. Charbroilburgersoningtoningham III was the cooler name. But let's stop that.
-
HUH? The person above me got the cooler name. Well, Mr. H.W. Charbroilburgersoningtoningham III, maybe we should quit with this. :-D

Well, ok. With tech today, it wouldn't matter. We'd have robot make Lego, we'd instate that people can work on Christmas, then (according to the Karl Marx's Communist Manifesto) there would be an uprising. A new goverment would form, and then, the people would adapt to communism and eventually we'd turn into pure comunisim. Which, is essentially, the goverment owns everything and everyone gets a fair share (at least, Karl Marx wanted it that way.) So, no, it's not that bad because all the lego supply could be brought togeher and we could all use one, huge, all encompassing Lego collection. So get used to it! X-D Superman has. X-D

Ok. To make this more confusing, I am going to refer to TPAM as: H.W. Charbroilburgersoningtoningham III.

Ah. As in...?* *Disclaimer* I fully support alternative lifestyles.
