Here is version 2 of my speed car. It uses a 11.1v 1000mAh LiPo battery, which is very light. The model is now around 100g lighter and sooo much faster :)

Now thats really fast! I would suggest you to use slicker wheels and maybe some suspension so you dont skid all the time.

Thanks! The chassis is actually quite flexible so no real need for suspension in my opinion but the slicker wheels would be great. Unfortunately I own none of them but might get some very soon if I am lucky :)

Then I'll probably lose some of the drifting-fun but we'll see :)
