I reckon the older Star Wars fans would recognize this vehicle: The AST-5 Armored Sentinel Transport!14820735317_1d52d99484_c.jpg

Click the photo to see more images :-)It's based on one of the KENNER Minirigs from the eighties:ast-503_l.jpg

Kudos once more to ministickers.nl for recreating the original stickers for me :-)

Calculated back to the price-per-part, this is probably the most expensive vehicle I've ever built!

I had to smile when I saw this. Great work. I had one of these 30 years ago. I seem to remember it belonged to Klaatu (before some genius decided that Klaatu etc was the species, not the character's name...)

Love it... I had quite a few of those Minirigs for figures such as Bossk to use as their ships when I was a kid.

I think I'm definitely building this one to go alongside the Troop Transport if that really is like the old Kenner set.

I loved the old Kenner mini-rigs! I had all the ESB ones, but only the AST-5 from the ROTJ assortment. I was glad to see Hasbro put out several a few years ago in the Deluxe assortment that felt very much like the old rigs yet a little more entrenched in the look of SW vehicles. Now I'm curious to see if anyone has MOC'd other mini-rigs, including the recent ones! Very nice work there/

Well... I made them!

Been quite a few years since I made them but I'm gradually reshooting them for my Flickr account. To date I've made all vehicles except for the ISP-6 (Vader's little landing vehicle) :-)
