LegoFjotten Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 (edited) Almost there! I could see the maintenance hatch just up ahead. As long as the maintenance override code was still working, I would soon be inside the docking area with access to the Cloud City landing platforms used by the Imperial forces. I was startled by the sudden sound of blast doors opening right above my head, which reminded me of the graveness of the situation. Without access to the docking area we would be in big trouble. There was no way we would get through those blast doors using the direct approach. As I climbed over final piece of piping and reached out for the control panel I thought to myself: "How did I end up here?" Now, that is another story... Without figs: (I want this to be scored) This is my first moc, and first time photographing Lego. Rogue Angel Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 This is a great first MOC. I like the pipe work, and the use of grooved white garage door bricks around the door. Can't wait to see more! Quote
TWP Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 Good work! I like the use of the grilled bricks! Quote
Ninja Nin Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 Very brave action ! I like your MOC ! Well done. I look forward to your stories. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 Very nice work! Very sleek in the upper level, and good use of piping below. I think a little more white on top and a little more greebling below might help the contrast between the two different levels. Quote
Dapper-D2 Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 The plot thickens. I’m already looking forward to the next scene. Quote
Sebeus I Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 Nicely done, luckely for you lord vader didn't sense your presence, perhaps his mind was occupied with more important matters I like the pipe you squized within the wall . Quote
Nom Carver Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 Great first MOC + great first lego photograph. Looking forward to see what comes next. Quote
Esurient Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 Nice use of pipes in your MOC! Can't wait to see what happens next, when Darth Vader is around! Quote
hench Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 Awesome start! Door is great and story itself is also very good. Quote
MstrOfPppts Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 This is a nice clean build wuth some very nice detail. As Brickdoctor said separating the two levels a bit more with a different style or color would make it even better. Quote
Only Sinner Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 This looks fantastic! I almost feel bad for that guy in there. Quote
LegoFjotten Posted August 11, 2013 Author Posted August 11, 2013 Thanks for all the comments & suggestions guys! I did some updates and posted some new photos. :) Quote
Covi Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 Great work! Nicely done! This vignette together with your story is just awesome! Quote
MstrOfPppts Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 The update looks grat! The bottom part looks much more crouded, like the real vents or engine rooms. Also the overhanging part looks great, since there's no limit for that in freebuilds, it makes the vig look not so bordered. Quote
Shadows of Nar Eurbrikka Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 Judges have awarded you 5 XP! Your character's stats will be updated shortly. Quote
