LukeClarenceVan Posted April 17, 2013 A scene I built for the Middle Earth LEGO Olympics, depicting Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli's escape from a flood of sculls in the Paths of the Dead. Which glows in the dark! Thought my glow pieces would give a nice ghostly atmosphere here. Thanks for stopping by!
BlueberryWaffles Posted April 17, 2013 Wait.. That was in the film? I thought it was only in the video game?

B34TBOXX5 Posted April 19, 2013 Great job man!!! Great atmosphere and love the glow in the dark!! Wait.. That was in the film? I thought it was only in the video game? I think this scene is only in the extended edition LOTR Return Of The King, not the theatrical version.
-GZ- Posted April 19, 2013 The atmosphere of this scene is very realistic. The whole structure is very detailed, and figure posing and overall composition looks great!

Redhead1982 Posted April 19, 2013 Nice MOC and great photography. The glow in the dark bricks work well for ghostly atmosphere.
ZCerberus Posted April 21, 2013 Nice work. Cool to see the addition of the glow-in-the-dark pieces.
TheLegoDr Posted April 21, 2013 Great rockwork. I'm always impressed by that. I am still surprised by how many people that haven't seen the extended editions. I've only ever seen the extended editions, so it puzzles me. They are far superior. And honestly I've never noticed the multiple endings of ROTK that people mention... But great build! Great use of the GITD teeth. Very fitting.

Darth Caedus Posted June 2, 2013 I think this scene is only in the extended edition LOTR Return Of The King, not the theatrical version. Yes. But at this point, the Extended Editions are *the* versions - although they have a couple minor flaws, the stuff they add makes the theatricals totally pointless (e.g. no Saruman in ROTK, no Denethor flashback in TTT). The glow in the dark teeth is an inspired touch.
Aredhel Posted June 2, 2013 Nice work. Love the ghostly atmosphere and how you arranged the skulls. Some skulls on the floor where the three have to step on like in the movie would be cool in that scene of yours, too. -Aredhel
