Peppermint_M Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 This little spot just at the edge of the park in Fabuville is a popular alternative activity on rainy days. Up on the roof terrace Greta, owner and chief GM is painting up a new miniature for playing with. Harry Hound (Hurunk The Orc Knight), Stan Stallion (Shergare the Barbarian) and Percy Pig (Pellinor the Mage) are midgame. I wonder who will earn the most exp. this round? Rhys Raccoon and Kari Kitty are playing a popular card game. Lani Lamb is acting as the adjuticator for this match. She gets to play the winner! Like many citizens of Fabuville, Greta lives above her shop in this cosy bedroom. Pay no regard to the loft space... After a win on ebay netted me a variety of figures and parts this month was the perfect excuse to get building! Hope you enjoy this, I am not really a building MOCer... Quote
Darkdragon Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 That's very cute! I like the Heroica Die used and the group at the rpg gaming table. Quote
Kristel Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 This is cute! I like the die for the sign, the bed (very girly!!) and the flowers. I didn't realise all the colours those flowers came in (Note to self: add those pink flowers to the wanted list!). Quote
Brickington Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 Is that skeleton I see? Nice moc! Quote
TheAshTree Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 Ah Fabuland! It has been a very long time! Great job by the way. Your modelling skills are really great! Quote
jimmynick Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 Very nice and playful! I wonder who the skeleton used to be. Quote
Peppermint_M Posted February 11, 2013 Author Posted February 11, 2013 That's very cute! I like the Heroica Die used and the group at the rpg gaming table. For a while it was a simple table with a few cups and a "dice" but I decided to make the environment when I noticed how like a tree two green leaves from Friends looked when stacked. Plus it made things look less bare. This is cute! I like the die for the sign, the bed (very girly!!) and the flowers. I didn't realise all the colours those flowers came in (Note to self: add those pink flowers to the wanted list!). I cannot recall how many/which were lucky finds at LEGOLAND Windsor's PaB wall, but I have gathered quite the collection over the years. The trans-purple ones are my personal favourite. Is that skeleton I see? Nice moc! Glad you like it, as I said, I am not the best builder of buildings. Most structures I create look a little bland at best. Ah Fabuland! It has been a very long time! Great job by the way. Your modelling skills are really great! Heh, it's only really since I have joined EB that I knew much of Fabuland. Before that all I had were a handful or parts in a hand-me-down box that were shuffled off into the "misc." drawer. The wholehearted support of the theme here got me into building to the aesthetic and taking the challenge of MOCing to the scale of the figures. Very nice and playful! I wonder who the skeleton used to be. Pay no heed to the loft space Quote
Purpearljellyblob Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 That's very cute! I like the Heroica Die used and the group at the rpg gaming table. I agree! That dice really works in your MOC. Very nice combination of Fabuland parts with the regular ones. I enjoyed your MOC. Quote
Maxim I Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Like Purpearljellyblob said: a very nice combination between fabuland and nowadays bricks! I am sure my (future) fabuland figs will spend a lot of their time in here Quote
