Stationed on Sorn to patrol the waters, I got to use a MANTIS ski-boat which is quite a fun ride! Plenty of speed and maneuverability, plus some serious firepower.

I was messing around with the black ski parts and liked how they looked in a diamond shape, so decided to use them as skis for the boat. The windshield opens to allow access to the cab, and the propeller spins. The water design is made using only 2×2 round plates.

Comments and suggestions welcome :classic:

Cool boat. I like how you built the pontoons.

Thanks StarHawk, I was quite pleased how this turned, especially as I haven't done very many boats :classic:

Very nice boat! Love the angels.

Thank you!

That water technique is playing tricks with my eyes...

Yeah, it does that in real life too :look:

Excellent boat! I really like the angled supports to the pontoons, and the cockpit is very nice as well :classic:

Thanks LJ, I was pleased with how the click hinges worked out to attach the pontoons :classic:

Great boat, and I love the water technique. Now I am just wishing I had stocked up on more blue 2x2 round plates from the PAB when I had the chance :cry_sad:

Thanks! And yeah, I rather wish I'd gotten more myself.

The judges awarded you 4 points.

Thanks Judges :classic:
