Capt Wolf Posted February 7, 2016 This is my third free build of the month, so approvals and critiques are most welcome. Samuel Amwell’s family have been brewers for generations, but Samuel is the first of his family to leave the mainland and move to the islands. In Weelond on the island of An Holli, Samuel has opened the Weelond Brewing Company. The tropical setting is perfect for growing the sugarcane necessary for distilling rum, and the ingredients for his family’s ale are also plentiful. Samuel works diligently to make sure his rum and ale are the best in the islands, and Eslandolan sailors near and far are quickly becoming familiar with WBC beverages. Sir Stig Posted February 7, 2016 Yes! This is my cup of tea (with rum). Dark red is always nice. You make the dark and light greys work together. Vats, kettle and fireplace is prima. You obviosly now the process ;) The only minor thing you perhaps could have changed is having the finished barrels lie down, and either have a tap in them or add a few bottles. Deserves approvals. Yep, you're right. Not sure why I have the barrels standing up. Now make some arrows with the names of each machinery/part used in making brew so that we too can learn! I wish I could! I worked from a couple of illustrations and just threw a bunch of parts together, but I really don't have a grasp of exactly what each part is. BTW, do you keep all these nice building together so that in the end you have an entire city? I'm trying to, but a couple of my buildings are missing roofs or floorboards they had a couple of weeks ago. The oven and chimney are nice, and the interior details are pretty good as well. It's another fine addition to the growing list of operations. I approve. Approved Nah, seems legit (not exactly legit where I come from). What you need is mostly there. Vats to dissolve the sugars, fermentation and destillation. No filtration though, so it would be closer to cachaca than rum tastewise. Muddle with lime and sugar, and add crushed ice, and you have something quite drinkable.
