Mr Greeble Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 - Agent G here, Sorn proves to be a relatively un-hostile planet, with the few animal encounters being small reptiles. The real face of Sorn lies beneath, in its icy depths. Fish frolic peacefully here, flitting in and out of the abundant sea-bushes, while white crab like creatures scuttle around in the sifting sands of the ocean beds. My high-tech equipment seems so out of place, cold and lifeless, unlike the bursting ecosystem of Sorn that survives so well without the nutritoxin and Smogg That gets pumped into the air and the water on the more "civilized planets". While we think only of how we may further our reach in the endless reaches of space, we never stop once to think of the life that lies beneath us, choking on our progress... - Comments and Criticism most accepted! Commander Turtle Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 This looks good. Although I can't see much of the detail because of the filter on it. I'd really like to see a clearer shot of this Quote
Mr Greeble Posted July 6, 2015 Author Posted July 6, 2015 Forgot to put a title! Mods, can you please add to the title - Gone Fishing Thanks a lot! Quote
SpacerSteve Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Cool stuff. Neat build. I agree about a view without the filter. Well done. Quote
mccoyed Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Very cool effect, but you should put an unfiltered photo in a spoiler box just for fun next time. Quote
Mr Greeble Posted July 6, 2015 Author Posted July 6, 2015 Sorry for not posting an unfiltered view, I've been rushing around and barely had time to post just this! Quote
aeralure Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Looks like a nice build. I like builds that feature two planes and it looks well done, especially the roots to the plants and the bubbles. I'll second (third?) others and suggest a non-filtered view so we can make out the details. Quote
LittleJohn Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 (edited) Great build! I like the vegetation and water Edited July 6, 2015 by LittleJohn Quote
Lady K Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 A very nice build! I like both the underwater portion using the spiders as crabs and the above portion with the cobra and frogs! Quote
Balbo Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 Very nice work! I like the vegetation and the swimming fish Quote
Big Sal Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 I like the two level build, and the plants underwater are great! Quote
David FNJ Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 I too like the two leveled look, and I like that you chose to have different lighting for above and below the waterline. Quote
