I can't seem to find the Mining sets on 4chan, only new Elves, Creator, Nexo Knights and Technic sets.

@jake0324demo Could you maybe tell us in which thread on 4chan we may find the new Mining sets? Thanks in advance.

They were removed thanks to a cease and desist from TLC, who probably found out via Eurobricks.

You missed my point entirely. I never said that nobody could afford it, and quite frankly I think it's pretty rude to act as if $600+ is a trivial amount of money. Anyway, my point was that TLG should reveal the sets earlier so that everyone has time to plan their purchases and save up the money, which I'd imagine a very large chunk of people need to do in order to ever be able to afford something like an entire wave of sets or the Falcon. LEGO sets are incredibly expensive and their target market covers a wide range of people with different financial situations.

Given that the set is releasing around the holiday season and that TLC will have had roughly a decades worth of market research since the last UCS Millennium Falcon, I don't think they're too worried about it sitting on shelves. When it comes to these sort of pricy D2C sets, I highly doubt the target market is the same as that of your average retail set.

Agreed. TLG's secrecy is rather frustrating and ultimately detrimental to the end consumer. I don't know anyone who just has $600+ USD lying around to just drop on Force Friday, much less $800 USD by October 1st. I really wish they'd reveal their sets earlier; we'd all be better off knowing about the sets as early as possible. Thank the maker for leaks. However, TLG could easily prevent leaks if they'd reveal the sets in a reasonable amount of time. You'd think they'd want our first impressions of a set to be official HD images rather than a blurry photo of a preliminary image in a retailer catalog. Perhaps I'm spoiled by a world where movies have trailers a year in advance, but I don't think asking for an official reveal a few months earlier is totally unreasonable. As it stands, we usually only get official reveals several days before any given wave comes out, or just a single month in the case of D2C sets.

Just because you don't know anyone with $600+ to spare doesn't mean nobody can afford it

Well, they're a little bit disappointing, but overall I'm happy. What's up with the pictures? They seem a bit oversaturated with color. Shame they passed up the opportunity of giving Flash and Reverse Flash dual molded legs. Also what's up with Superman losing his iconic hair? :sceptic:

So are dual molded legs in licensed sets now a think of the past, given that not a single figure in this wave (and in the Justice League sets) has them?

Too bad, we're expecting the same with Marvel sets. Oh my. Why do they gave to stop making dual molded legs when it's needed.

That Reverse flash look so boring tho it's nice to finally have him. Lobo is easy fix.

Honestly, what is the obsession with dual-molded legs?

Disregard the last one. This one has:

    70606 Spinjitzu Training
    70607 Ninjago City Chase
    70608 Master Falls
    70609 Manta Ray Bomber
    70611 Water Strider
70612 The Green Ninja Mech Dragon
    70614 Lightning Jet
    70615 Fire Mech
    70616 Ice Tank
70617 Temple of the Ultimate Ultimate Weapon
    70618 Destiny's Bounty

Great! Now instead of looking at the static images conveniently posted in this thread, I can watch them in a video format where I get to pause if I want to look closer!

And if I came off angry or something I'm sorry I just don't like  Ninjago is always given the short end of the stick and I do get that Lego is trying to take their time and stuff but come on it's June, the sets r out in August, and the movie is out in September so yeah and sorry one more time if I sound angry or if sound as if though as I am ranting because the movie does look good and so do the set

I'd hardly say that getting a feature film is tantamount to being "given the short end of the stick". Its not uncommon or unheard of for sets based off of IPs (here, I consider the Ninjago movie its own IP, with its own marketing push being equally spearheaded by Warner Brothers and Lego) to be released closer to the release of whatever film they are representing. At the end of the day, I would say try not to lose sight of what Lego is, and that a later release is hardly the end of the world.

You gonna add some credibility or sources to that statement?

His statement was so incredibly vague, does it even matter? Of course the Ninjago Movie version of Misako/KoKo will look completely different from the one we know, just as every other character has. As for him thinking the trailer is going to be enjoyed, that again tells us practically nothing.

Sections of box art piece by piece. This is getting wierd.

Ooh I missed the bat. Now all is good. Love the bat.

How is it weird? Seems like a pretty standard practice for teasers.

I can't distinguish a chicken from the silhouettes, so whether we get our feathered friends is still a tossup. The bat is a nice surprise however, and I'm interested to see the use of pieces.

It looks like the wings are minifigure neck brackets, and the ears are a 1x1 with clip.

Oh, you're talking about AFOLs. Sure, they care. They also don't matter. They barely even register on the sales charts compared to kids, and kids do not care about leg printing.

I would tend to disagree. I would say most AFOLs buy sets for the parts first and foremost.

    Parrots and different coloured beds

    All has been said

Seeing as those features have only just been announced, and sets are typically designed a year or two in advance, I wouldn't count on it anytime soon.

A little off the current topic, but does anyone think that the new Flash cowl could finally mean a helmeted Captain America?

Maybe a comic version, but I think its far more likely that Lego would produce a new mold should they ever give Captain America a proper helmet. With pieces produced specifically for licenses--such as headwear--I think it is very unlikely to crossover to another theme.

Hmm… seems likely, only thing is that the snowspeeder has no astromech socket.

I'm well aware of that, hence why its its own polybag instead of included in the box. IMO, it is meant to be in scale with the UCS snow speeder and is the same sort of free polybag that is sometimes released alongside a D2C set, like Mr. Freeze with the '66 Batcave.
